I am aware of Warriors’ shattering throw, but what else is there?
Seems to me like this defensive is not only weak (not usable while on GCD, 3m CD, etc) but it also breaks easily.
I believe Colossus Smash, possibly a Priest’s Mass Dispel.
It really is pretty crappy IMO, especially compared to most other defensives.
Dispel, mass dispel, shattering, colossus and even other hunters can remove it with “cant remember the shots name”.
Gozer the Gozerian can break Turtle. And Beelzebubba. go go Dead Milkmen
With Tranquilizing Shot?? No I don’t think so man… but I’ll test that for sure today.

Yup. It needs a re-work. They just need to make it impossible to dispel and it would make more sense. It’s on a 3min CD for God’s sake.

far as ive seen, no1 can remove it. shattering throw misses and so does any other dispel. maybe mass dispel but its never been a dispelable buff. sounds more like you just double hit the button an canceled it.

It’s entirely possible. I play with /cancelaura but I swear I dont hit anything.

if you hit the button in quick succession you can cancel it. as it has a global cancel time on it if you hit it twice by mistake, i often use this in raids when i need to soak mechanics but instantly want to cancel turtle afterwards. so that i dont lose dps. there are 0 spells in the game that can remove aspect of the turtle off the hunter, because it makes spells miss you and physical dispels like tranqshot also miss. the only thing that would dispel your turtle would have to be a dot already on you and i dont even think turtle is considered a magic buff.
Yeah. I was under the impression that Shattering Throw breaks it but that one breaks magical shields. AotT is physical, so I guess that answers that. I wish I had kept videos of it going down almost instantly, but I didn’t.
Right now, I am testing pressing it and pressing no other button or attacks and so far so good. Could be bugged, hard to tell.
