Hi all I been questing through Drustar and wanted to know what is the fastest way to get order of embers rep? I like to get the bag pattern. Thanks for any advise.
You do get a decent chunk of rep from the main questline in the zone. Order of the Embers is a bit weird in that you don’t get any rep at the start of the zone, but once you get far enough in the story to actually form the Order of the Embers, you’ll get a decent chunk all at once.
Beyond that, most of your rep will come from world quests and emissaries. You can’t unlock those until you are level 50. I will require picking up your Heart of Azeroth (the earthen Guardian NPC near the Boralus Inn has the quest “A Dying World” to start it.) You’ll also need to do the 3 foothold quests for the War Campaign. Once those are done, you can get “Uniting the Isles” from Halford Wyrmbane to unlock world quests. It will require you to be friendly with the 3 zone factions, which you should get questing through them normally.
Thanks, actually my toon is 50 now, I guess I have to get the hearth of azeroth then and do the other quest that you noted?
Yeah, if you’re already 50 then I’d go and unlock world quests. (You may find that some of them overlap with the regular questing you do, so extra rep for the same amount of work!)
The 3 foothold quests I mentioned are part of the War Campaign. (You may have done them while leveling.) They also start from Halford Wyrmbane. Each one unlocks travel to one of the Zandalari zones, so if you’ve done them, the captain on the boat will be offer you them as travel options.
Once world quests are unlocked, you’ll see extra quests on your world map in all of the zones. They’ll pop up automatically when you go to their location. Each one is worth a little bit of rep. You’ll also see emissary quests in the bottom corner of your world map. Doing these gives a big chunk of rep with the associated faction. (It doesn’t look like Order of the Embers is currently up, but keep an eye out each day.)
You can also buy contracts for the various BfA factions (including Order of the Embers) from the auction house. (They are made by scribes.) When you use them, you’ll get a buff for 7 days (that persists through death) that gives you 10 extra rep for every BfA world quest you do, regardless of which faction it’s for. It’s not much, but it helps a little if they aren’t too expensive on your server.
