How much do you think is a reasonable tip for a crafting order where you supply all the mats?
/shrug Depends on what it is. If it’s a recipe that requires them to have a decently filled-out tree, I’ll give a few thousand. If it’s just some random item for an alt or cheap cosmetic thing? 500-1000.
100~500g when supplying all mats on a public order with no regard for final quality. Most base-level shadowflame spark crafts will be made at 424 with 3-star mats without any real effort at all.
If it’s a personal order for something important that needs an insight? I usually do 5~10k depending on if it is a common pattern or a hard-to-obtain one.
I generally tip around 1k-5k depending on how I feel that day. But I dont normally put on a public order rather make a personal order
I appreciate the input all! I just couldn’t tell if I was being cheap or not.
The problem is the limit on filling public orders. I would take anything to fill a personal order. Using illustrious insight is another thing.
I just say tip whatever, sometimes I get 1 gold tips, other times 1000-3000g and sometimes big money bags who tip 10k.
This is exactly what I do. It will be 2.5k one day, 5k another, 1k on another day.
Those amounts always get the job done in under 24 hours, so I am guessing that those amounts are good for folks.
I’ll do like 200-500g for a crafted pvp piece that I don’t care about the quality of.
For a max item 5-10k
I tipped 25k per weapon to get the 424 glaives cause i had no idea whatsoever how much to tip lmaoooo i feel silly reading this thread
Hey did the order at least get done quickly
1K for a 424 ilvl, 2K for 437, and 4K for 447. Each tier has increasing difficulty and even with max crafting skill & inspiration, certain items can still require a proc @ 447 (i.e., can’t be guaranteed in one shot), so the commission should increase with increasing difficulty.
I don’t tip less than 1500 gold. If it’s not enough, they don’t have to accept the order.
Whatever makes you happy.
Personally, I’m just giddy to see an order posted.
Eleventy one.
Or 42, because that’s the answer to everything.
Lmaooo yes was like instant
Tbh you should do 1000g min for the mettle for 447 guaranteed. Beyond that it depends on the pattern rarity and price. But 5k should be more than reasonable all around mid rarity stuffs.
Depends, if I am looking for a run of the mill item and I am not concerned about getting a five star then I will tip 1.5k. If I am looking for a high end crafted item that is five star and has some special considerations (like the altar of decay), then I will tip higher for the additional skill and effort on the part of the crafter.
Idk I tip well. It’s something I never have to sink time into so I’m happy to pay.
Usually 10K for a 447 and 1K for the crest.
