So I am writing this for those players just jumping in or for traditionally slower players
I was one of those long time retail players that basically levels classes and then quits.
I might dabble in a bit of LFR but not much past that. I had not done a mythic dungeon before this.
There are a lot of videos online on how to max power and how to grind grind grind.
If you prefer to go a bit slower here are some tips
Don’t worry about fast leveling it only took me about 4-5 hours going slow
Just do what you want. Yes you can go back and finish each zone for 10% bonus but I. Ever really needed it. Might do it later for alts
Do the research activities from the big dragon and try to combine them. You can change them out and get ones you want.
Sometimes you can finish 2-3 at the same time
Don’t worry about gear it will slowly drop. There is a quest person standing by the gear shredder thing that gives you one free piece each day
Don’t worry about optimal builds. Everything dies super fast. I just swap to whatever the research activity is.
Scrap all the gear. There’s a really useful add on to help
Run a few raids each day. They reset each day and take 10-20 minutes for the whole thing
Don’t worry about your gear. People don’t care at this point. I’ve been doing all the mythic raids each day and I have level 620 gear and about 50 versatility. That’s the stat you get once you max out your artifact weapon.
I did one mythic today and the whole thing took 10 mins
Plan out what you want to buy. I was mainly going for the future housing rewards and those come from achievements. So I had extra bronze to spend.
Some items are extremely rare in the normal game so this is an easier way.
