Since I got my item level up to 227 recently, I thought about giving dueling a try with the average players, and I particularly want to test my skills out on Death Knight players. Do you guys have any advice for fighting Death Knights of all types? Like what I should avoid and what I should exploit?

Canonically they can’t survive without feeding on the pain and suffering of others so if you just don’t engage eventually they’ll kill themselves

Play a Fire Mage, my Fire Mage seems to have little trouble with Death Knights.
Boomkins and Demon Hunters on the other hand…
- Lay down
- Try not to cry
- Cry a lot

use a phoenix down

dks are horrible at dealing with melee damage
use defensives and kite their burst or bubble it, bait ams and then pop wings and viciously murder them
if they pop lichbourne, hit em with the disrespect and turn evil them
also turn evil their ghoul when they dt if they’re unholy
if they wait for your bubble, just use a short CD to pressure them into wasting their own defensives (you mainly want them to waste ams and amz since half your burst is magic damage) you can just go fully aggro
keep yourself up by playing defensively until you force cds
save horsie for grip and freedom the follow-up chains
Kite a lot. Avoid grip. I’m most deadly within melee range with my auras and whatnot but just as weak against another melee if I’m bad at death strike… which I usually am lol
Bubble and hearth when losing, GG.
Hit them. Really, really hard. A lot. No, I mean A LOT! It works for me.

Aren’t DKs really bad against anything that can kite them?
Oh right paladin, sorry OP, you’re on your own
between light’s barding and double horse combined with sanc wrath and divine toll/vanq hammer, paladins can realistically kite some classes atm, dk being one of the
Just dance and get them confused. That works all the time for me!
Has applying you have all you need you are the anti-DK of the game,just do what you normal do.

Team up with a Frost Mage or Subtlety Rogues, Death Knights are not really that difficult to kill, if you know what you’re doing.
Just tell them during the fight that your parents actually love you.
