So I’m easily making it to the arcane phase but continue to die before making it to the real Xylem. Any tips for getting there faster? I’m saving 2 rushes and using the backflip but still having issues. I’m confident I can beat it if I make it thru that phase.
Dps is roughly 1k up to that point with very little survivability issues. I’m playing on a laptop with integrated graphics so my settings are turned down quite a bit making the sparkle almost invisible.
If you don’t immediately see the sparkle where he is and fel rush to it just go to one of his images, doesn’t even matter if its not close to his actual location and kill it. Wait then go to the next one as soon as the cast is ending then kill it. Essentially just keep hopping closer. Once close enough use fel rush and vengful regreat.
You have 40 seconds which is a large time span and more then enough. Remember with eyebeam you can also position it to hit another image at times making it easier to move to the next. Also make sure you stay in bubble without immediately going forward as it does heal you to full.

Enchant both your weapons with Crusader for phase 1. You can switch them for dps enchants of your choice in phase 2. The Crusader enchant heals for more than your leech, much more, in fact. On top of that, run the Blade Dance/First Blood build so you can use Felblade. Its a little extra mobility, as you can Felblade to the image closest to Xylem and then glide over.
If not that, then just try your hardest to interrupt Xylem and kite him as close as you can back to the middle of the platform so once he teleports away, you don’t have to travel as far.
If you use DBM, you can get the “Challenge” pack and it’ll tell you when things are about to happen. Once he begins casting Arcane Barrage, it usually means he’s about to teleport away and you should prepare yourself to move ASAP.

Yup I’ve got the crusader x2 … honestly maybe 1/10 times I’m dying it’s because I lack survivability, mistime a kick or something and take an extra bolt when I shouldn’t have, otherwise I’m easily keeping my health up. Just seem wiping in his mirror image phases, got it to 16% once but otherwise most wipes are either 60ish or 30ish due to the darkness damage.
When I try and kill the mirror images, usually only get 2-3 globals before I’m dead if that, usually can’t get in range of melee dmg or not enough fury for dance
Yeah, its more rough when Xylem isn’t as close to the middle of the platform as possible. Sometimes he doesn’t move after you use Disrupt, other times he does. You want to be moving backwards when you use Disrupt so you give yourself as much of a chance as possible that he moves so you can keep him in the middle. Once he starts casting Arcane Barrage, he is going to teleport soon. You’ll get there.
Yeah, not giving up. Did enh shm / BM hunter / guardian Druid so far… I’m making progress regardless wether I’m refining dps in p1 or working on the mirror transition, really hate how long each attemp is compared to my Druid. End of his fight was 4min… takes 5ish to even come close to seeing 2nd half of this one.
I found the arcane phase easier when you slowly get him towards center to prepare yourself for that phase. For your case if you imprison just before he teleports you will briefly see the imprision in the distance.

if you use dbm, you will hear the alert that comes just before he is about to leg it, i always run to the middle when I heard that then rushed to him.
Like people have said, if you get stuck, kill an image and wait for a fel rush charge to come back
What’s the best strat for killing mirrors, wowhead guide says to glaive throw them then wait for cast to go off and finish them off… every time I attempt that I die before their cast goes off.
Best way I found when you are running with Unbound Chaos talent is to save immolation aura to kill/almost kill an image with a fel rush. Best way to get through that phase though is to position him near center so you can double fel rush wherever he teleports to.
I will refer you to my video
Just watch my movements
Cheers mate

How do you zoom that far out? For some reason I’m unable to see that much of the platform at once even fully zoomed out
i have it keybound to my mouse wheel scroll, but i also have an Ultrawide Monitor
By chance is it an addon? I too have the zoom out on my mouse scroll but I don’t get that kind of distance.
Ah nvm reread, could be monitor.
Once gpu prices go down hopefully sometime next year I’m going to upgrade to a pc. For now I’m just on a 15.5 inch laptop
It’s always 3 comet storms in the beginning, so I would prepare for arcane phase directly after.
I would make sure that I’d save the actual interrupt to kite him towards the center, as others suggested. From there, I always turned around, keeping basically the entire platform in front of me.
The moment he ports, you can see where he goes. If you miss it, can glance at the minimap–but not seeing it usually ended in death for me.
I also made a point of saving metamorphosis for the phase just incase I was slow to spot him. Just make sure you don’t use meta too late during xylem…you want it available for the boss after.
I killed no mirror images. Just fel rushed right to him. Can jump right through the center, over the orb. Or over any beams. The center deals no damage even if you land on it–which I did pretty frequently.
Honestly if your good with your soul fragments, you can hold Meta until Phase 2, because Phase 1 is just repeating Arcane/Frost Phases until hes 10%. There were attempts of mine where I wasnt going to make it to him during the mirror phase, you can Meta over to him and basically cheat the phase, but theres a chance your meta wont be up by P2

Okay, I’ll try and save meta for the port phase and see if I make progress, in that situation for final boss phase would you still lust/pot at the beginning or wait to pair w meta?
Sure, with enough practice on the phase, and if you look at my video, you can watch for the little ball of light, thats where hes gonna teleport, so you can easily start making your way there and be in the middle by the time the port happens, but with enough practice, eventually you will never even have to Meta at all until Phase 2, which if thats done correctly, you can get a 2nd meta off by the time the void dude is at 10%.
Depending on what the cd time on meta is at that point id say go ahead and pop everything. If your using the Mechagon Trinket like i did, it might help squeeze in an extra 20k ~ Mind you, that Cyclotronic Blast, gets stronger with Verse. notice in my video i have about 20% verse, I could have gone to 30%, thats about 6k on that 1 blast.
Finally got to phase 2 last night on my 100th pull. Didn’t last long since I wasn’t familiar with distance needed from puddle I killed the first set of adds but ended up dying afterwards bc I got too close to the puddle. Meta helped to get to the 4th mirror spawn. But I think I can manage without it now.
