A Note on Anima Farming
It’s been a while since I’ve had to anima farm, someone might have a better idea of what could be spammable for a good amount of anima. The only things I wanted to mention are:
- Be Careful when depositing your anima, given you have to unlock sanctum upgrades and increase their ranks, make sure that what you are putting in won’t affect your other upgrades
- All anima in your bags will be deposited in your sanctum, so I would advise splitting it as needed by storing it in your bank
- Dailies, rares, zone weekly quests, and the dungeon quests will more than likely be your best sources for getting large amounts of anima rapidly
- Story lines also give a good amount too
- Remember that you only need to upgrade your sanctums to level three, I have outlined in the dilettante section below which ones need to be higher than three!
Shadowlands Dilettante
I know this one can be intimidating to do, but once you understand how everything works its really not that bad:
Pursuing Loyalty:
- To start this achievement you need your sanctum to be upgraded to rank 2
- When you are doing the initial quest to gain mirror shards, DO NOT FARM EXTRAS AS THEY WILL DISAPPEAR FROM YOUR BAGS!
- You need 50 total, 5 for the initial quest and 45 for the challenges
- For grinding the shards you need the best area to do so is the citadel of loyalty, primarily focus on the kyrian present
- Make sure to use your medallions of service to buy supplies from caretaker Caryn, as these will give you all the mats you need to unlock and do the challenges
- For the order the challenges should be done in:
- First free on courage to unlock the next three opponents
- Defeat unlocked challenges on courage to unlock the first four on loyalty
- Defeat one boss on loyalty and the last set of challengers will become available via a quest
- Beat the last two challenges on courage to unlock them on loyalty, and then beat them on loyalty to complete the achievement
Mush Appreciated:
This one is straight forward, each rank level gives you one additional daily quest to do, so I would advise putting your upgrades into the night fae transportation network initially, as you’ll gain 1500 rep a day once you max it out.
Be our guest (Fair warning this one is a bit tricky):
- The first and foremost thing is you can obtain a maximum of 3200 rep, not 1600 like others have claimed!
- To achieve this all guests need to leave feeling elated, more on that later
- When you are doing your sanctum upgrades this is the one you want to be investing into the most, as you need to be rank 4 with the ember court in order to have four guests at a time
- You are able to control what guests you have, which is important for ensuring that each event grants to max rep
- Each of the four slots has a set rotation of guests
- You exchange them through the use of blank invitations, guests are controlled by Lord Garridon, which cost 8 infused rubies
- Make sure to spend your invitations wisely, as you have a limited amount of rubies you can get each week
- Also make sure to match your guests up as much as you can, while serving new guests that you haven’t had attend before
- In terms of rep you simply need to reach honored with the ember court, in order to unlock all guests
- Other than grandmaster vole and choofa, you have to do a quest for each guest to earn their RSVP
- When doing the event ensure that you are doing activities that aligns with your guests interests, in order to increase their enjoyment levels which in turn gives you rep at the end
Things to do While You’re Dead
In terms of upgrades you want to bring this one up to rank 5 first!
Abominable Lives
- This is what will supply you with malleable flesh and superior parts, make sure to do these weekly quests!
The Gang’s All Here:
This one is self explanatory, a list of what should be crafted in what order is:
- Chordy
- Atticus
- Marz
- Mama tomalin
- Roseboil
- Flytrap
- Professor
- Sabrina
- Toothpick
- Gas Bag
- Guillotine
- Iron Phillip
- Naxx
Wardrobe Makeover
Here is a link to a useful wowhead comment that has compiled a list of where and how to get the items, you only need 25 of these as well! https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=14748/wardrobe-makeover#comments
- Some can be bought from the constructs and vendors
- Some are treasures that can be found around the zones too
It’s a Wrap
Buy 200 shrouded cloth and turn them into 100 anime-bound wraps, which can be used to summon an event NPC. Make sure to follow it to Blackhoud Defense point as it will unlock the Blackhound Cache which has some accessory items
From A to Zerith
I’m not going to go over everything, just going to provide a couple things here to help out
Dune Dominance:
Make sure to keep an eye on the dessert area, the bosses you are looking for will spawn in the giant pit in the middle of the area, an announcement will go out mentioning how the ground is rumbling to warn you the boss is about to spawn!
Treasures of Zereith Mortis:
The Forgotten Proto-vault requires the world quest Frog’it to access, even though you can fly the chest will not appear unless you are the frog and hop over to where the chest is.
Synthe-fived:
I would advise making 5 pets as their the cheapest and easiest thing to make, to get the lattices just kill creatures of the corresponding pet type until you get what you need.
Walking in Maw-mmphis:
Same deal as before I’m not going to go over everything, just a couple things
Trading Partners:
- You need to earn a total of 35k reputation to max her out
- Make sure to do her dailies
- Other sources include:
- Elite rares grant 100 rep per kill
- Non elite rares grant 80 rep per kill
- Special encounters grant 40 rep per kill
- Make sure to participate in the wrath of the jailer events
- Make sure to participate in the tormentors of Torghast events
Better to be Lucky than Dead
The only thing worth mentioning about this one is for each convocation rare, you need three other people to complete the ritual to summon the rare. When you kill each one it will drop a rune, which is required to access another rare.
On the Offensive
All I have to say about this one is it sucks, but here are the five easiest achievement components you can do:
- United Front: Simply complete all four assaults which will will take 2 weeks to do
- Jailers Personal Stash: This one can be completed regardless of whether the required quest is up or not, all you have to do is use a rift key to enter the maw rift, I would advise picking up engineering for the shadowlands wormhole teleport. Teleport to the maw, then go to where the night fae assault is and open the chests. DO NOT COMPLETE THE ASSAULT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY EITHER! The chests respawn on reset if you haven’t completed the assault, meaning you can get six in one day, and the remaining four on the next day.
- Up for Grabs: This one works the exact same way as Jailer’s Personal Stash, you either have to use the centurion to access the upper ramparts of the wall, this is where the chests are. With the latter being a grapple hook that venari sells, and I will say this again, DO NOT COMPLETE THE ASSAULT UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL THE CHESTS YOU NEED!
- The Zovaal Shuffle: All you have to do is find gubbins, take the parasol, and dance in front of five forges to complete the achievement, make sure to dance for a few seconds too.
- Hoarder of Torghast: This is another good option if Fangcrack is up, he will be the giant on the far right size of the assault area pulling things out of torghast, just break jars and use the anima powers to complete it
Thanks for reading! I hope this helps people through some of the more tedious components of the achievement, all in all its not too bad, just use the above tips and it should streamline everything for you!
(Side note formatting maybe a bit awkward, I had this done in a nice google doc but for some reason my trust level got nuked.)
