I wanna really start farming transmog. Is there anything I should do to get the most out of farming? Any tips or tricks on how to farm effectively?

Meditating before and after farming. It will help you keep your sanity from the constant disappointments of having something you want not drop after countless runs.
Most people would say to farm weapons, always use a warrior because they can use everything except wands and…one other thing. But basically everything.
Also I would say look at some complete sets and see which one you want to go after. Like I was after the T6 Warlock set so I went to all the instances that had that tier, like BT and Hyjal.
If there is a specific item you want that hasn’t been dropping for you, I recommend saying “I feel good about this run!” before heading into the dungeon.
I don’t farm anything, but didn’t they make it so that Plate-wearers can learn any other armor class mog?
Be sure, and I cannot stress this enough, BE IN THE CORRECT LOOT SPECIALIZATION.!
Transmog add ons are great here. I use Mogit and Can I Mogit. Can I Mogit shows if you have that item unlocked, if you can use it, and if you have a look alike of that item already unlocked. I use mogit when I want to make sets but it also shows the all items that share that look and if you have it as well.
I will have alts of the same gear type to do double duty on the farming.
Any of the WoLK raids at your level you can do with no problem and start collecting alot of tmog start there and theres lot to gather, als hit Burning Crusade Raids…move thru, You can use website like WoW Head to help you go thru mog items and where to find them, or to look thru raids and see whats actual in them.
Alts. Lots of alts. I can usually get what piece I want in one day because I have several alts of the same armor type.
A lot of people try for completing sets, and that’s fine… but later you’ll realize what you really want is variations on a style. Like you might want a lot of different gold+brown pieces you can mix and match… or red+black… or silver+blue, etc. When you go to compose custom outfits later, you’ll want pieces “like the set piece, but different” to tweak them out.
Awesome thanks everyone!
