Hate the new UI. Yeah same.
Here is my tip. Download curseforge(.)com/wow/addons/bartender4
In game (if you can stomach it) Right click the Icon (which looks like a Beer Mug), and then click Presets.
There are a few Classic presets, most of them look like the old school UI, the one that 100s of us love and want an Option to go back to.
Now the only problem you’ll have is the XP/Heart/Rep bars. We have no way of moving them. Using this add-on will place these bars under the Chat window.
Edited :- I have found a way to edit the Status Tracking Bar within Bartender4. So you can edit it.

remove the space and ()s from the link and you can see what my screen, New UI and Bartender4 add-on can do.
You can then use the add-ons features to add the extra bars, make the bags have their own area while still dealing with this new UI.
If anyone has more tips for us, please share them. I just want to play what I have paid for, seeing as Blizzard likes to NOT care or will NOT listen to players.

can we hide the talking head button or is that not an option?
What is talking heads anyway?
you know when you enter Mechagon and prince erazmin starts talking in that box above your action bars? its the RP thing that I’ve been wanting to get delete for years…
Recently dominos allowed this, so guess im going back to using addons and this UI overhaul was useless for me.
not with Bartender (that I know of) but the new Blizzard one you can move the talking head box.
OMG thank you for telling us this.
added a link (but had to edit it) to my main post. also below

Ty for suggestion.
I’ve come here this morning for helpful ideas and have found a few that have made setting up my bars much easier.
I was hoping to find info on the enemy health bars.
I’ve used tidy plates but would rather not use an addon.
I really rely on the healthbars showing on enemies with their health and level marked. I haven’t found that as an option yet.
