You know how many times everyone rushes down that hill into that tight space to get aoe stunned?
You can reverse that onto horde by simply waiting for like 10 seconds to go down there and some of hordes team might just go off to kill ogres. or just take a small right turn and hit them from atop that cliff.
Rushing down there and having some people run off to the left and los the healers on the pillars and splitting is terrible.
Going mid and then taking a left to roc at the start is better than that tiny road that horde likes to glider into to stop everyone.
The one you get to once you run across the bridge to the left and run past that hole in the wall.
Instead of running down the ramp take a quick right and you can stand on that hill and the ranged can get their openers off on horde largely unimpeded. instead of running down the hill getting rooted half way and aoe stun spammed.
The downside potentially is if they start shooting up at you you are technically los’ing the healers so.
Thanks, and Enfer did clarify that last night. I was looking along the main road because there are 3-4 spots that seems to fit the description
I agree. A small change like this could bring a good advantage, when we run with premade it’s quite common to see this tactic used.
In Pugs games, we used to ask ppl to wait/hold, and some people would, sometimes the majority of the group would stop and hide, but then a few late joiners who had missed the ‘wait’ message just run/jump straight down the cliff, making people thinking its time to go and everyone jumps into the GY opening Well, its a little better than getting aoe stunned at a tight spot I guess.
Slightly related, I find players fighting in large groups tend to keep their group relatively separated from the enemy’s group even when pushing. While this is safer, but from experiences it would be far more effective to push the whole group into the enemy group, try holding together and fight from within to break enemy team up. Usually the unprepared enemy who couldn’t handle the chaotic situation would lose. [Edit] Unfortunately this requires a fair amount of trust between team members which is hard for Pugs to build up in a short time.
