Hey, if you had a tank spec, you'd at least be fairly decent at pvp this xpack, or wouldn't have two dead specs where all they need is more damage tweaks (And demonic tyrant removed or reworked to just be an aura instead of a buff applied when summoned.)

Although I guess Druids would argue that tank fact...

I would rather be terrible at PvP and PvE than suddenly have my class dramatically altered to appease some twits who played around with Dark Apotheosis back in Mists of Pandaria and think that's enough to justify an entire specialization built around it.

Tinker class:
- Artificer spec: Ranged dps spec that summons turrets and wears a tinker backpack
- Pilot spec: Tank spec that swaps between piloting different mechs
- Apothecary spec: Healer spec with a permanent Frankenstein pet

Why don't Tinkers get a piloted mech for every spec? They should be like druids, having different "mech forms" for each role.

And the mechs should be different for each race, like Gnome mechs should be made of Gnome tech, same way for Goblin.

I know I'd like Chaos Bolt to hit for more than 25k in pve... My hunter's aim shot hits for 54k regularly and sometimes hits for over 100k.

As would I, but people assume that because one specialization is doing well that they're all doing well so if you try to voice any complaints, they'll dismiss you by bringing up the one that isn't garbage.

Because

1) they should be unique, not just mechanical druids.
2) there are more mechs than just piloted ones. There are mechs you carry on your back and add to your attacks. There are mechs that you build and stay near you. There are turrets, healbots, etc.
3) If you make a spec entirely around piloting mechs, then you can make several skills based on that, each skill being a different mech to pilot. For example, one skill is to pilot a Heavy-duty mech that absorbs a lot of dmg (defensive CD) and another could be piloting an airplaine that moves fast but breaks quickly (mobility CD).

Race-specific mechs would be really cool, though.

I'd assume Gnome, Dwarf, Draenei, Undead, Blood Elf, and Goblin would all be able to be tinkers.

There are Draenei/Blood Elf artificers and Undead apothecaries all over the lore.

I could also see Mag'har orcs being tinkers, specifically the Blackrock clan. They're all about industry and whatnot.

While we're at it, allow Worgen tinkers as well. It would be cool.
Rangers are really only relevant to the Horde as DARK Rangers imo, and on top of already having an undead hero class with DKs, I'm pretty tired of everything revolving around the undead lately. And that's coming from a Forsaken.

If they released Dark Rangers for Horde and Wardens for Alliance, that might be okay, but as much as I would love to play a Warden, NEs definitely shouldn't have another racial class and Wardens are a bit too iconic to be made available to other races.

Tinkers should get to dual wield pistols or something to set them apart from hunters. Make them kind of like Engineers in GW2 with bombs, traps, gadgets, gizmos, turrets, a mech suit maybe.
blizz was ramping up tinker npc involvement since mists, i believe that they introduced iron horde tech in order to give orcs access to tinkers

Because it'd be super obnoxious to have a bunch of giant super loud mechs running around.

You ever go herbing when a herd of people in shredders are running by?
Just call it the engineer class. FWIW I love that the healing spec is biomedicine/necromancy based which makes it feel more like a biology thing than "heal bots" which seem very contrived.

Well, if Tinker is available for only Gnomes and Goblins (as it should be), the mechs don't need to be giant, they could be Draenei/Tauren size.

nah, if they do tinker it will be available to gnomes/goblins, draenei/blood elves and dwarves/orcs

I particularly don't like this idea. I rather Tinkers being something unique to Gnomes, something we finally can call our own.

Goblins too... of course, those little green bastards...

Just my opinion, of course.

I really dont see how you can easily differentiate Rangers from hunters. Sure you can give them different abilities but what would make them feel like a new class rather than a group of hunter specs that aren't hunter specs for some reason?

Same thing could have been said about Death Knights and warriors, it can work
