But I think I can make a few safe assumptions.
Demon Hunters, Monks, and Death Knights all Draw heavy inspiration from their Warcraft 3 Hero. So we can safely assume Blizzard would do the same thing with Tinkers.
To me, That means Ranged DPS, and Melee Tank.
Blizzard also just recently showed off Tinker Healers in BFA. They had healing robots and healing grenades.
So that makes 3 specs. Tank, Ranged DPS, and Healer.
I think this is bad idea, and I think Blizzard knows it’s a bad idea.
Goblins and gnomes are garunteed of course. but let’s just look at examples through history
Orcs and Dwarves love their war machines
Draenei are powerful Artificers, and the blood elves stole that technology in BC
Dark Irons and Mag’har both have incredible style.
Gazlowe’s greasemonkeys even have an undead among them.
Uh you have met the Draenei right?
Both the regular Draenei and the Lightforged have built incredibly powerful mechs and robots.
They have an entire social caste of engineers. They’re called Artificers.
In BC, mostly in Nether storm. blood elves found their technology and figured out how to use it for themselves.
Don’t get me wrong. I hate blood elves. they are my least favorite race. But I won’t ignore the lore.
Well PvE is the easy one there. Tank, Healer, and Ranged DPS. 3 things this game needs.
PvP tends to be much less strictly balanced. But even still, a Class that builds turrets would be EXCELLENT at base defense, and establishing safe retreat paths for their team.
this is literally the only think that makes actual sense. and one of the big reasons im against it. its an RP things. which is uwu valid but i dont think tinker can be a ~class~
