Ten days ago I transferred all of my Timewarped Badges to my main Warlock. I ended up with a total of 36990 Timewarped Badges on her. I confirmed they made the transfer, and was waiting for this week to finally get the BC mount. When I logged in today, her total was 0, and there are none on any character of my account. The transfer ledger does not mention them being transferred from her. This is the only currency that has been zeroed out, everything else I transferred to her is still there.
Finally got a response from Customer Service today, telling me that what I experienced was a bug they had already fixed (I disagree on that assessment for obvious reasons). I was then told that Customer Service can not restore currency lost to a bug, and that I had to file a bug report for it.
I have done so, but I’m not clear on whether that means I’m going to be getting those badges back or not. 36990 Badges is a LOT to suddenly lose, especially at the beginning of the event I wanted to buy the mount from AND with the upcoming Anniversary Event supposedly having things to buy with the Timewarped Badges as well.
Tried trouble shooting it to see if I could figure out if I did something wrong, and resurrected every character I could… including some characters from over a decade ago. The reason I did this is because on Monday I did a check for character redundancy and deleted a bunch of characters, and Tuesday was when the badges disappeared. I’m sad that this situation wasn’t resolved during the event that I would be able to use the missing badges, but I guess I’ll just be waiting for the next time that the BC Timewalking week comes to get the mount… if I’m still even playing at that point… another issue like this would probably just get me to move on.

Same issue has happened to me and blizzards customer support is useless! You figured they would care more about there player base but it appears not. Got the same response you did about how customer support can’t restore missing currency

I’m sorry to hear it. Hopefully they’ll address this issue if enough people bring it up to them, but at this point I think its not something they will ever fix. They just don’t care anymore.
I’m absolutely so sorry to hear about how many badges you lost, my jaw dropped when I read the number.
I just transferred 4.8k over from one character to the other in order to buy the new time walking mount, and my currency disappeared. It is no longer on the first character, and the second character doesn’t have it either. I reported it as a bug, and feel pretty disheartened to have found your post about how they can’t/won’t restore lost currency. If I knew something like this would happen, I would only have transferred small amounts to one character instead of large amounts between my characters.
I’m posting my reply in hopes that we can generate enough traction/awareness so Blizzard will fix this. 4.8k isn’t a lot compared to what you lost, but it’s still a lot of grinding and time that I spent in order to earn something in game. And now I will have to start over instead of getting to buy the mount, thanks to this bug.
A couple of friends and I are having the same problem. We all bug reported and one sent in a ticket but he is just receiving the same generic copy-paste response that customer support always gives. Warband transferable is an amazing idea but good lord is it filled with problems.
this bug just happened to me when I transferred 6k badges to an alt to snag some timewalking gear. it said “processing” then all of a sudden it stoped and said “you don’t have that currency”
There’a a new mount for TBC and I can’t transfer badges wtf.

Lost mine recently as well. Been building up and saving them. Transferring between multiple alts. Oh well. Now I’m out at least 10k badges.
So, there’s a new Timewalking mount and the badges are still broken. What the hell?
I had it happened twice for me and still haven’t got them back customer support is useless I’ve sent actual proof of the missing timewarped badges and still get the generic response so yes they are useless
Yup, they won’t give your stuff back, but they’re happy to collect a sub fee while you go grind more. Maybe you’ll be able to collect enough to get a mount that might vanish into thin air…
Just adding here that I had 9,629 Timewarped Badges and 4 Bronze Celebration Tokens disappear, the former after sitting for about 3 days after being transferred and the latter after only about 9 hours.
