So during a warband transfer of about 8-9k timewarped badges they disappeared. On the help is says Customer Service does not have a workaround or solution. So just like that the badges are gone? No way I can get them back? Thats tens of hours down the drain. Ive been doing timewalking non stop to buy everything. I spent over 13k and had about 8-9k left over.

I had the same issue! My log says the badges transferred from character X → character Y; however, I never received them. I submitted a ticket only to be given a computer generated response to read forums or submit a Bug Report (which states they will not respond to you). I marked it as unresolved.
A GM then responded to the ticket saying there was nothing they could do and said yet again the same thing: report the bug and check the community forums. It happened a few days ago… I said that I could screengrab the log and show the exact amount, if they would just kindly reimburse me. Nope! 
Sadly, you have lost them with no way of ever getting them back.
Lost every one of them, and now there’s a new mount.
Yeah it happened to me again. This time it was only about 1,500. I play many alts and now I just don’t transfer anything anymore. This is ridiculous that they wont do anything about it as it takes a long time to accumulate many of these. I’ve lost only ~10k and I saw on another post someone lost over 30k. When you’re grinding timewalking badges specifically this is a huge oversight and unacceptable response from Blizzard. Blizzard really needs to do something about this. When I get days off of work to grind timewalking just for it all to be for nothing is extremely frustrating. I’ve given Blizzard over $200 this past month. And they are wasting my time.

I had 54k Timewarped Badges, that just went poof when transferring them to a different character. I will raise he*l if I lose all of those. Timewarped stuff is one the only things in game that I legit just do over and over and over because I like doing old content (I can’t explain it). Could someone PLEASE tag me when they say there is something they can do.
Replying to give this a bump - I also lost about 3,500 or so in a transfer. I got a generic GM reply to my ticket. It would be great it they just restored them while they worked on the bug.

That is absolutely brutal.
I don’t think Blizz will get this fixed. Looking in the forums people have been reporting this since July and no one has responded with any news about getting anything restored. My advice is to simply not use the transfer tool at all until Blizz reports it is fixed - which seems like a huge IF right now. I reopened my help ticket basically begging them to restore them. At this point IDC if they fix the bug, I just want my badges back.
