Timewalking XP nerfed for levels 71+

Ok so after a ton of data just showing that it was nerfed your argument is that it may have been nerfed because this guy said it might be?

Tell me when was the nerf?

My ā€œargumentā€ this whole time was that it isnā€™t a big deal, this is a non-issue. You claimed it was.

The guy in the video you linked clearly thinks it was too high because he calls it out. So like I said, this isnā€™t a big deal.

Thatā€™s just an opinion. Youā€™re free to think itā€™s not a big deal.

My post is talking about something that appears to be an unintended bug, ie an issue. This much does not appear to be in debate, no matter how much certain posters keep trying.

ā€¦ REP?? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Itā€™s 606. And we donā€™t even know what level that character is.

Also: there was a bug with the system partway through DF that was fixed. So I donā€™t know why youā€™re spreading inflammatory misinformation around this forum just to make people mad, when itā€™s literally the same thing as it has been for at least two or three expansions: around 4 Timewalking dungeons per level when Blizz doesnā€™t break it for a day.

Moving on.

In the video he says at lvl 70 is could take 3-4 dungeons per level.
Thatā€™s not far off from what it is now.

Did you even watch the video you linked?

  • Video titled 60-70, so we can assume its in that range
  • User has Aiding the Accord, so thats more evidence heā€™s 60+
  • User has 200k+ xp to level, which is well within range of the DF level brackets (edit: lol, 234805 is the XP needed from 62->63)

Keep grasping at straws.

Even if it was just 606 (at times, at others its higher) my point still stands that its a massive gap - 606, which you agree to, is 15x higher than what Iā€™m getting now.

Plus, my rested XP bar is basically untouched after 4 levels today - something that did not happen in DF.

Face it, the numbers are dramatically lower - and not the same as they were in DF. Its ok to be wrong, but have some dignity to know when its been proven.

Lmfao, so much for all the data.
Its roughly the same amount of xp overall, who cares how Itā€™s distributed.

Youā€™re extremely rude for someone who is wrong.

One can make reasonable assumptions on a set of data.

But, just for you, hereā€™s the XP bands for Dragonflight

62->63 requires 234805 XP to level, exactly what that guy had in the video. Looks like my set of assumptions were accurate and the framework for coming up with such much stronger than whatever youā€™re using.

Do you people ever get tired of being wrong? At least Sendryn had the good sense to run away from this thread, yet you persist.

This player is also level 62:

  • XP to level: 234805
  • TW Completion XP: 84300 (33 second mark)
  • % of Level: 36%

TWW:

  • XP to Level: 445000 (79 to 80)
  • TW Completion XP: 105900
  • % of Level: 24%
  • % of Level with 25% warband bonus: 30% (to pre-empt this argument, still lower)

This player is getting 1.5x more from the quest, relatively, on top of the 20x more from mobs.

So, no, its not the same. Its slower in TWW.

Man, you sound just miserable.

I have noticed too. Leveling in tw now compared to df is slower for sure. It seems mob exp was reduced or maybe end of dungeon? But yea it takes three to lvl up even with dmf buff

If youā€™re over lvl 70, it always took 3 or more to lvl.

ā€¦
bruh, you are the only person i have ever seen care about the minute mob xp you get.
it has always been the completion of the dungeon that gives you the massive xp, NEVER the mobs.

???
Out of the probable many thousands of dungeons I have ever done, never once have I seen anyone complain about this, since when did you EVER get a significant amount of xp from mobs? Iā€™ve never gotten any significant amount of xp from them in the 15 years Iā€™ve been playing this game.
the completion is the ONLY thing that gives you any decent xp for any dungeon at any level.

again, SO WHAT?
it was always an insginifcant amount that barely did anything for your level. it being ā€œnerfedā€ means literally NOTHING.
It could be reduced to 0 and youā€™d lose out on maybe a grand total of half a bar of xp if even that.

Noticed that last night. Average wait time showing 2 to 3 minutes like usual, then only to be sitting in queue for 30 minutes lol. At level 76 on my priest, end of dungeon xp showing 98k for time walker compared to 67k normal tww end of dungeon xp.

In which I prove that mob xp is heavily nerfed and that the quest xp is not making up for it:

The mob xp definitely helps you level much fasterā€¦ not sure why people are defending this, they overnerfed timewalking by a huge margin. It shouldnā€™t drop off at 71 but maybe by 75-76 should it start reducingā€¦

Found this out today for myself. Now they ruined my favorite way to level alts.

Yeah, not sure why this was nerfed.

I suspect it wasnā€™t intentional but instead something they forgot to update and 71 is being treated like some legacy level.

I have been leveling an alt in Wrath TW, just boosted to 60 from 46, just questing. I figured I would level up and finish my Northrend loremaster stuff off. After completing the initial Warsong Hold quests then the next set just outside with the Kodos I was already 63 and quickly realised I was going to hit 70 before finishing Boring Tundra. I abandoned everything and started on the uncompleted zones. Leveling is going so fast itā€™s a bit worrying. I thought it would take me all of Northrends zones to get to 70.
