Timewalking TBC tomorrow, will you level in it?

So this is for anyone who has alts to level still, me I have five tanks between 74-77 and I’m planning to push them all to 80 as long as Timewalking experience is still good.

Couple of reasons first halfway through TBC was when I started so lots of good times, and I know the dungeons so we’ll still.

Second, the dungeons from TWW are a mix, getting Dawnbreker or Cleft can be waste of time

This is the key issue.

I didn’t participate in the last TW, which was Legion. This was in the prepatch. I had too much else to do. Plus, TW at the time was a poor way of levelling compared to Remix or the prepatch event.

But apparently Legion TW was awful. It was no longer chill. It was a chore. We will see if it’s chill or it’s a chore.

I have not enjoyed the TWW launch. The easy dungeon levelling followed by an XP nerf, the same thing with delves (maybe fixed tomorrow?), BM hunter being in a pretty bad place and I just don’t enjoy how TWW dungeons play. Being underground doesn’t help either.

I basically have 2 things possibly holding me to Season 1: TW and the anniversary event (the 11.0.5 patch basically). If TW is in an awful state (raids and dungeons) I’m either checking out to Season 2 or just going back to do legacy content until 11.1.

Definitely, this random expac instance system they got going for heroics irks the hell out of me. A break from that bs for some timewalking is just the ticket, at least you know you’re doing old content instead of new content.

Semper Fi! :us: :ukraine:

What ilvl will the dungeons drop?

According to the Adventure Guide it looks like the dungeons will drop 554 gear and TW Black Temple will drop 597.

I plan to run my mage through since she will be my 5th 80, and then likely take my two EU tanks through as well. Currently, I am leveling her through pet battles and trainer dailies. I want to level more of my 978 battle pets so I can do more in the open world, so this was a nice side diversion. From 72 to 77 in just a couple of casual weeks. Been nice, but I am looking forward to TW dungeons. I too joined in TBC (just after the portal opened) and I have always enjoyed that content.

The one thing that I’ve always found annoying about TBC Timewalking is the amount of stuns. Pulling 2-4 packs at once csn be disastrous if they include the wrong mobs.

Even in a timewalk, genmed set my tanks can go from 100-0 before they get free.

What exp nerf are you talking about? Scaling changes happened, but its the same amount to level to 80 now as it was during advance launch. Plus the more alts you get to 80, its even quicker since you add 5% of exp per alt at 80.

I understand BM hunter are only good at ST which does not help at all during normal dungeons and I wish we don’t have to wait for the changes that are coming in a month or so. As for being underground, ya need to fly around Hallowfall, that place does not feel like I’m underground.

sure i love tbc

Can’t wait for the obligatory “TW dungeons are overtuned” posts.

Woo this is a good idea. I STILL don’t have the ITR but I do have a buttload of alts to level and a 20% warband buff to help.

i have 13 level 70s just waiting to be leveled by timewalking, already ahead of you in that regard, One of every class, and 5 DKs

I won’t be. My alts are pretty much just for professions. Except for the gatherers, I don’t think any of them are going to even leave Dornogal anymore.

TFW Timewalking is meant to be “heroic” dungeon difficulty/rewards and drops gear too poor to even enter heroic dungeons lol…

something tells me they killed off heroic to force players to do delves instead of LFR and dungeons, that way they can tell their bosses players likes doing delves

I’m not 100% sure that’s accurate, given how they’ve been consistently working to nerf any semblance of fun out of delves as well.

I seriously think it’s a case of they’re trying mobile game tactics of “well, if it takes 3 weeks to get into end-game content, that’s an extra month’s sub, maybe two if it crosses periods, maybe 3 if the person forgets” rather than trying to, y’know, make content that people want to stay subbed for…
