Timewalking Scaling

Why are time walking queues like 40 minutes, if these dungeons are so face roll shouldn’t people be queuing like crazy to get quest done?

The ilvl reward is so low a lot of people I know aren’t even doing the weekly. I only bothered on a single alt.

Also possible that if they tried it day one, they don’t know it was hotfixed to be faceroll and don’t want to deal anymore. The five I ran on Tuesday were so painful I wouldn’t have done it again by choice lol. Literally had multiple DPS dropping from bird one-shots on the windy bridge in Skyreach, tank dying to first boss in Grimrail even though we’d all done the key last season and knew the mechs, etc. It was pretty gross.

People were getting nuked for like 1000% of their health in Grimrail.

Poor testing on this one blizz.

The loot reward is garbo ILVL wise. Esp compared to literally any other task you can be performing. ( could sit around farming rares and get better Ilvl rewards )

The Box was okay ( 392 item for me ) but having to bug test for blizzard for this week’s timewalking event is also horrible.

359 is pretty good for doing nothing, unless you’re already at 340 or above, you won’t be getting that from WQs, maybe from some weekly content, but for a fresh 310+ quest geared character that’s pretty good.

The queue times are just way off, it says 3 to 5 minute average, but most are 30+ minutes. Seems like there’s an actual issue with queue system itself.

TLDR of this post:
The scaling is absolutely abyssmal on every single front.

I ran auchindoun, grim rail, skyreach yesterday. Struggled a bit but was able to complete them all. On my mage.

The big issue I saw was (mostly tanks) groups trying to run through it like a M+ then wiping cause they pulled too much and couldn’t handle the mechanics.

I started staying at max range ready to pop invis.

DF dungeons have the most mechanics since Catu, your a horrible troll lol

I’m going to be honest here blizzard has really messed up time walking then. Because for my and my Guildies when we were running them they were laughably easy, like WAYYYYY too easy. Nobody took damage and we killed bosses in actually 4 hits. We were actually saying they Didn’t scale us down enough and we were still level 70 doing level 40 content. That’s insane. They were so easy you could pull half the dungeon and easily kill everything. Blizzard has got to look into this one hahaha.

I am still being about 2 to 3 shot on the wind ramp by the birds. I died earlier on my paladin healer of all characters. 🥹

Any word on the hotfix for this? some of the dungeons are easily doable, but there are some attacks that just cannot be survived or easily dodged.
