You are screwing over people who have been logging in every week for years to build up their timewalking sets by doing this. Me and thousands of other players have spent years farming tertiary stats and sockets on gear, not to mention all the legendaries like Shadowmourne/Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest/MoP Cloaks/WoD Rings. Literally makes me want to un-sub and quit playing the game how royally you have screwed us over today. You NEED to make our gear scale back up, ALL this gear was higher ilvl than it is now before your stupid ilvl squishes. Also while you are at it, fix it so you can enchant Vanilla raid loot with Vanilla enchants.
That’s not all is always takes. Bugs happen.
Funny. Explain this that happened the other day that was in the mail.

If it makes you want to quit due to not being god-like OP in a timewalking dungeon then you probably don’t like the game much anyway.
Thank you, thank you.
Just got home, looking forward to do some timewalking.
That was the bare minimum. This is a public forum about a game. I am not going to go through every single example and procedure on how to do a QA check.
- I didn’t feel like saying that they should have at least had a dungeon team roll through every encounter to make sure things don’t explode.
- Or have someone else at least look over whatever code was put in to make sure some over worked dev didn’t miss something.
- Or hiring actual QA testers which really are not that expensive.
- or at least putting something on the PTR and looking at the data.
- Or at least having us do the QA on PTR and actually listening to bug reports.
And much much more. Do you really need me to go through every example to get my point across?
I know that QA testing involves more than just glancing at the numbers once. That was an example of one bare bones minimum low effort example of giving a crap about the product you push out. The fact that Blizzard cannot even manage that is pitiful.
And to that link. I aint clicking that. You missed the entire point of my post in the first place. People pay for a product and are defending getting it in an unpolished state. That’s pretty damn stupid. And this is why most games these days are broken on launch. Why bother spending the money to make it good when fools gonna not only buy it, but defend it.
I don’t care if you do or not, it simply proves you’re sarcastic response wrong.
Bugs happen. It’s almost like you don’t understand what you’re pretending to be an expert on.
You dont have any achievements in real life, you are a gross human.
I’m certain this got hot fixed, did Skyreach an hour or so ago and it was a cake walk.
I didn’t have any problems with the dungeons.
Honestly, I always find TBC or WOTLK dungeons more difficult.
Tanks think they are immune to Sunder Armor or Mortal Strike and it’s impossible to heal them.
Is this a troll thread? I just did 5 TW dungeons with DH tank friend and he was level 60 and taking almost 0 damage. I started as holy but changed spec to prot and we literally pulled all trash from boss to boss and prot paladin heals were enough to heal anyone. Dungeons are very undertuned.
the hotfix has already been applied, this post was hours ago before it happened.
Not every T-shirt gets a check, they select a T at random and check it.
The same could have just as easily happened here where maybe they checked one of the dungeons in the pool that wasn’t Grimrail or Skyreach.
I’m a software engineer by trade, so if I make a change to module A in the code base, I don’t expect nor would QA expect that they need to run a full stack of tests against modules B and C if the code change was localized. That doesn’t mean that there might not be an unintended side affect from the change and if that crops up such as this, it’s indicative that the test suite doesn’t have coverage in modules B or C for the change made to module A. In layman terms, that’s a bug and those happen. You apply a hotfix to get the live code runnable, you open a Jira to add the test to the suite so that next time the regression doesn’t occur. Welcome to the life of a software engineer.
Oh, well hopefully they apply another and make the dungeons at least somewhat threatening.
I remember when the majority of mmorpg players enjoyed a slight challenge, now the majority enjoy steamrolling content.
Troll is trolling.
Just making legitimate point
Are you folks aware of BFA mobs and dungeons being scaled far higher than they should be and that it has been in a sorry and broken state for over 6 weeks now? Where’s the sense of urgency there?
This morning my tank had 5k in tw now I have 17k. It was fun while it lasted.
In 8.3 timewalking dungeon drops were actually decent for gearing. IIRC it was 400 for normals, 415 for heroics, 425 for TW, 430 for M0. They were nerfed in time for SL and now nobody uses them for entry level gearing. I doubt they’re going to backtrack on this because pigheadedness is usually the name of the game when it comes to design decisions like this.
Go fix the MMR EXPLOIT of SOLO SHUFFLE already!!! Amazing how fast you respond to meaningless timewalking tuning that was harmless, compared to allowing people to rampantly exploit quitting solo shuffles and not losing MMR!!! Get your priorities straight!!!
So I made 2 run with my alt to have some “relax” after doing m+ all day. Trash die after 1 aimed shot, boss die in less than 30 secs, wtf ?
