Timewalking scaling is completely ruined now

what level exactly? i was literally in a group with a level 12 or 13 tank and random ticks of ground damage in that one dungeon with all the slimes in the boss room just instantly killed him. other random things were killing tanks and healers too in other dungeons.

pls dont tell me your gonna say since you havent experienced it, its not happening.

It kills low levels that are overgeared for their level as well though. You can be a BiS twink which would be equivalent to a 680 level 80 and get one shot to it while they take no damage.

yeah, at 80 tanking offspec ilvl 660 i can just pull entire rooms and then some and sit in aoe all day.

No, because at high m+, some classes can live mechanics with trivial ease. Others use cooldowns. Some need to avoid them.

Like, the idea of WOW at some point is a fair game is laughably false.

No, you sound ridiculous. Having more health, more armor and more abilities means I can take extra punishment. Having lower health, less armor and less abilities means someone else can’t.

It is easy, but there are a few abilities not scaling correctly.

If you’re not very low level then it won’t be a problem.

On this day, in the year of our lord 2025, two people seem to earnestly believe that in 10-80 content that some of them should be one shot by the same mechanic that literally does nothing noticeable to others.

There’s no hope for humanity.

That’s kinda how wow functions, yea.

In mythic raid a warlock claimed they could stand in a mechanic and hp drops to maybe 80%, while someone else is kinda dead.

That is complete bs. This content is supposed to balanced for anyone level 10-80. Any ability that one shots low levels should one shot 80’s

For anyone, means anyone can do the content.

Timewalking has never been equally difficult for anyone at levels 10 to 80.

(People kinda complained excessively about level 11 fury warriors.)

Yeah I’ve only seen people getting one shot in these 2 dungeons. Even when it’s like a low level tank popping defensives and stuff too, doesn’t matter. There’s something up with the scaling for specific abilities in those 2 dungeons.

Pretty much this. I believe it’s very specific abilities. I don’t know exactly which ones in every dungeon, but they definitely exist.

The slime poison AoE on the floor in that boss room in that one dungeon is definitely one of them. (It’s King’s Rest; I looked it up.)

So, in King’s Rest, before Mchimba the Embalmer, there’s a group of slimes you need to kill. They drop poison pools when they die. Apparently, even a single tick or touch instantly kills lower-level characters. As a level 80, though, I can just stand in them AFK.
