Pick up the Anniversary Timewalking quest in Dalaran. Ran a dungeon, got credit. exited the dungeon and it was dropped.
Tried 4 times. No joy
its dropping for me every time i go through a load screen

Same here. Everytime I go through a load screen after finishing a TW dungeon, the quest disappears from my quest log. When I re-pick up the quest, Iām back at 0/5 dungeons completed.

Same here. Even tried teleporting out mid dungeon to pick it up fresh and it got removed when i zoned back in. Party members sharing it also did not give it to me.

Same with me. My friend had no issues and was getting credit, but mine kept dropping from my quest log every time I hit a loading screen. Disabling my addons, changing characters, scan & repair, and getting rid of other weekly quests made no difference.

Same for meā¦ I have done my 5 and still have no credit. Please fix and mail me my items for finishing.

Same here. Originally just on one character but Iāve had it happen on 2 others now while I was able to get, keep and show progress on the quest on several others. Submitted ticket, got the standard ādisable addons, reset UIā response. Still doing it.
On my DK right now I got it and set it to track this time, watching it constantly to see exactly when it dropped. I made it back through the portal to SW with the quest intact. It dropped right in the portal hall as I reached the steps to go into the back room with the Dornogal portal.

that just shows the incompetence of some of the BLIZZ GMs. I have done timewalking on a dozen toons dozens of times with the same addons enabled and this didnāt start till today. itās not addons its the game

Im having the same issue. Ive done 3 so far today and each time I get credit at the end but as soon as I zone out the quest disappears from my log. When I pick the quest up again it back to 0/5.
I have tried taking the quest from the suggested content tab of the adventure guide and from hitting accept when i zone in.

Iāve tried taking the quest from the NPC in Tanaris but it bugs out too.
Why would it be the GMās fault. They donāt write code. This is on the devs.

there has been problems. same here too. need to report the error. now they discredit us. no good. there is a bug to the error. need to repair the timewalking quest,
Since my post ive tried on 3 other characters. The first on picked up the quest from the adventure guide and did 5 in a row with no problems. The second one picked up the quest from the pop up when entering a TW dungeon w/o the quest did 5 in a row with no issues. Both of these characters were 80
The third character picked up the quest from the adventure guide did 1 and requeued with the same group but the quest dropped when we moved to the 2nd dungeon. I then reaquired the quest from the popup. After finishing that run I left group and was 1/5 back in the plague land but the quest disappeared when I walked into Stratholm (service entrance) to hand in the quests I had completed in the earlier run. Queued and entered a third TW and picked up the quest from the popup but as soon as I zoned out of the dungeon it disappeared. I went to Tanaris picked up the quest queued for a forth TW but as soon as it was over and I zoned out the quest disappeared again. This character started at 68 and is no 73 after the 4 TW dungeons. But still 0/5 on the quest.

This has been happening to a new toon I made. I have completed over 20x Time walking dungeons. I have accepted the quest at the giver, at least a dozen times. Then there were several instances where the quest popped up as I was entering the dungeon, and never getting credit! Thinking that it was a glitch on the realm, I paid to transfer that one toon to the other realm I play, and logged out went to bed. Tried the next day and still happening! Only to that ONE toon! This is really annoying! Please fix this issue!
Just an update!
So, I log in today, I go to the quest giver, I accept the quest. I queue into a Time Walking Dungeon, and when I enter, I am offered the quest again! I accepted. I finish that dungeon, and it showed credit for 1/5 completed Time Walking! YAY!
I queued for a 2nd Time Walking dungeon, and when I enter, I get offered the quest again. I declined that one. When I completed the dungeon, the quest and the credit were no longer in my quest log! This is a very annoying issue. Please help!

I see your struggle here, but currently there are no known issues with the quest so Game Masters have no capacity to complete this quest for you.
What I suggest here is to check the following page that gives more details on what you might be missing to complete the quest:

Welp.
Tried it with 2 of my chars.
No joy on either.
Submitted bug reports on both.
What was weird, onone of my chars, the quest was dropped/ vanished from my quest log as soon as entered the dungeon. One on my party mates shared quest with rest of us. Ran it. Saw the quest log track the completion. Left the dungeon and pooooofā¦it was gone again.
Guess we were all having a mass delusion.
