I feel like the fact that you can get a normal raid piece from each weekly might make that difficult to consider. I’d like it, but I don’t think they’d like it.
Because it rotates with other weeklies. Why is that so hard to grasp?

3 weeks is fine, just let it run at the same time as the non gear related events(counting pvp as gear related) like pet week and wq week. Pet week is probably one of the most abysmal weeks for a lot of players(I don’t mind it as I use pet battles) so it’s often a downer week for many.

There could be separate rotating weeklies - pvp, pets, timewalking, current dungeons… you choose the path you want to take each week & the others disappear until next week kinda thing.

So remove it? Like how brawls don’t impact the weekly event rotations.
Think of something else to fill it’s slot.

Thing is it’s meant to be a bonus event. Like a holiday special. Something fun that floats around occasionally. That was the concept of timewalking way back when it was first invented.
Not intended to be a constant forever part of the endgame world. And I know the question is “why couldn’t it be?” And the answer is Blizz doesn’t want to. Sometimes it’s just a “no” and life goes on.
Combine some weeklies.
I mean pet battles? Really? That can’t be merged with anything? How many people straight up look forward to pet battle week?
If Blizzard gave timewalking each week then players would complain about the same content over and over and that Blizzard needs to come out with new content. This would be a horrible idea.
It should be weekly, and the devs should likely combine weeks, IE TBC and Wrath, Cata and MoP, WoD and Legion.
I think if it rotated expansions, but Timewalking was every week that would be fine. If not, then every two weeks or something. Folks are always gonna complain, but having the option there for people is better than having nothing. At least in my opinion.

Not really.
Put the weeklies on one list and rotate them as we do now.
Put the time walking on another separate list and cycle through each one each week.
Which has the added incentive of giving players more to do and more reason to keep playing the game.
(And add Vanilla time walking FFS)

It’s not bad design. You just want more timewalking. Not everyone cares. Don’t get so hostile. Weeklies are weeklies. Just like in other MMOs. Calm down.
Yeah. Really. Lots of people I know love that weekly and don’t care about other weeklies. Shocking to know that other people play the game differently.
