Timewalking is awful right now. I literally cannot heal it

First TW dungeon: 73 blood DK with zero usage of any heals, no anti magic bubble, just playing Blood like he’s a DPS with no survivability CDs at all, and pulling entire rooms, impossible to heal

Second TW dungeon: Lock who has burning rush on 90% of the time in stratholme, and big pulls so I get perma-silenced repeatedly. 'y rnt u healing healer?!?!!?" uhhhh well maybe it’s the chain silences from pulling 12 mobs that spam silence? Also: the lock died, no surprise there, using burning rush to 2% hp and then getting hit = death. Wow.

Third TW dungeon: Great tanking, dude was solid, perfect execution. DPS was terrible, had a hunter using auto-shot and nothing else, just completely afk 100% of the dungeon with autoshot, he used aimed shot once on a boss. Took a very, very long time. Went OOM a lot since DPS was so low

Fourth TW dungeon: Lvl 10 paladin tank, unhealable. Idk why, I spammed my heals, could not keep him up above 40% hp, he just died repeatedly.

So yea, I’m done with healing for TW til they fix it. No role reward, and constant repeated M+ style difficulty, no thanx

I took a run at one the other day given that they were handing out the tank bags.

A few runes and 1000g? I would tank several more per day at that rate.

Strangely, after the 1st bag, the need for tanks apparently disappeared and the reward disappeared…and so did I.

There’s nothing wrong with timewalking, and nothing wrong with you. You aren’t supposed to be able to keep bad tanks alive, and you aren’t supposed to be able to carry the group as a healer. If other people aren’t doing their roles properly you won’t be able to do it.

I told them about this months ago and was told that I just suck

Fix what?

The only thing that needs fixed is other players. Like “tanks” just trying to dps and not actually tanking. There was a post in the CS forum about how a tank just ran through the whole dungeon and pulled everything, and they kicked him because everyone else kept dying. If you’re the tank, and someone else is taking damage (outside of certain unavoidable AOE), then you are not doing your job and should be kicked.

I mean Blood is always like that if they can’t keep themselves up nobody can.

After the early release weekend the consensus was that dungeons were being finished too quickly so a bunch of changes were made to slow everything down but all it really does is make everyone feel weak af

Apparently, I am, because if I don’t I get a fun 30 minute penalty. So I either have to slog through it and suffer for no role reward, or I simply leave and come back in half an hour. That’s a system people like???

they liked it at the start of WW when people were leaving dungeons after first boss cause of that trinket.

but blizz never goes for half measures. now we’re stuck with it for the rest of WW

During this entire anniversary, I’ve run into a few squishy tanks, but they were new and they said so. People were fine with it and nothing really went too amiss.

I ran into a few DPS who wanted to pull before the tank, two of them got kicked and the other stopped doing it after being told no.

And I ran into a total of three twinks so far. The last one was a Monk tank who waited for people to catch up, asked if people wanted to clear all bosses or just required ones and even went back for the lost Warlock in Dire Maul who fell behind due to a disconnect.

I honestly don’t know how people are having such a bad time in Timewalking. My experience is not this. And I’ve leveled four characters and run it for weekly boxes on three others.

I haven’t run a TW dungeon since the second week of this event. The only way to fix a bad run is to kick a bad tank, and half the time the vote fails, and you either waste an extra half hour (and a few hundred gold in repairs), or get the 30 minute deserter debuff. No thanks, I’ll just skip it.

TW needs to be reverted to a high-level activity that scales people down.

Yep I’ve levelled 6 so far, either tanking or healing.

I just finished healing a Zul’Farrak and I had only one death in my group… it might have been my fault. Yes, let’s just say it was my fault.

I’m working on a Vulpera Holy Priest w/ Archon. Just hit 75.

My renew barely touches them. The tank - demon hunter level 30 was out-healing me like crazy. The rest of the group the renew was marginal.

Definitely chain pulling but the tank wasn’t terrible - just maybe had a problem with keeping an eye on the group and wanted to go go go go go while the group was catch up catch up.

I’m debating finishing my 5…

I had a funny one on my prevoker where I somehow got hero in need for healer in BRD and still somehow took a 15 minute queue on it, I’m not convinced the system is not randomly picking between healer and tank.

I had no issues leveling prevoker and mistweaver with timewalking recently maybe 1 or 2 dungeons between them where the tank was hard to heal

Ya, when DPS pulls the tank isn’t there to save them from their mistakes. If the tank pulls and can’t keep aggro, they need to go.

A lot of the problems in these TW dungeons are the DPS acting a fool in more ways than just what the OP says.

I get pretty happy when I see the tank is a twink though. Thats the best case scenario for everyone.

Had a DK tank in Dire Maul… one whole wipe but we only went through two bosses. The person is like a 73 DK with a couple of outdated heirloom pieces. I had to heal like crazy to keep things up in this one. TW has been mostly terrible this round.

Going to do my last one I guess. Wish me luck :dracthyr_sweat:

Gear is scaled in timewalking. What gear he is wearing makes no difference whatsoever.
