I used the group finder for random time walking. I got thrown into Forge of Souls after Bronjin and the group was on it’s way to the final boss. Before I could catch up on the long run, they killed the last boss and left group. I got ZERO credit for the trouble on A Frozen Path Through Time quest.

I did join the que again. I’m just letting Blizz know there is a problem. I’m running the time walking dungeons for the for the quest reward, not just to blow time.
The blues here ain’t able to help, nor they’re able to past this along. More to the point, joining a group already part way into a dungeon is meant to happen to let groups that had member(s) that left for a number of reasons to finish their run.

When in situations like this bug reports or dungeon raids and scenarios are best places to post.

There isn’t a problem and Blizzard won’t hear you on a peer to peer help desk. You weren’t in the vicinity of the kill, so you didn’t get credit. That’s how it works.

You still need to be in range of the boss to qualify for the kill. You were not close enough and didnt tag it. Theres no bug to report. You just need to re run the content

the auto queue isnt designed to look at where in the dungeon the group is, it just sees a group with 4 instead of 5 people and puts the first single player into the group. It happens.
If you want to provide design ideas or feedback then general is thataway. They dont take feedback here this is just a player to player help forum.

This is a bug report forum for players to submit to the blizzard team to correct. It’s not a player fix forum.
I agree, kinda arss when that happens. I’ve also gotten the queue before only to not be able to even enter instance because group was on the last boss already.
Its not a bug tho

Oh look, I just went into another time walking, and lo and behold, I arrived right where the group was, NOT at the entrance trying to run a record marathon to get credit!
It appears SOMEBODY at Blizzard decided it WAS a bug!
That’s kind of how it always work. Sometimes you get place at the start, sometimes you end up with the group. Nothing haven’t been fixed.
A bit weird you’re rather hang on about being right about something that isn’t really an issue.
