WoW Retail Timewalking to different times to level is broken. Quest turn ins not showing up on multiple timewalking instances, like MoP and WoD. Exp is messed up. Needs some serious attention (and maybe some QA instead of uhhhhh looks good to me…)

We aren’t in a TW week currently.
well, you see, there’s this NPC named Chromie. And She allows you to timewalk to other xpacs for leveling purposes. it lets you use older xpacs for reasonable leveling experience…when it works. Right now, if you timewalk to say…WoD…Warlords of Draenor for the unwashed. Then, you can play a lot of that xpac over again…at least in theory. Right now, it drops you on the ship at the docks with the big wall of flame cutting you off from pursuit…usually there’s a quest turn in there, but right now, the quest turn in is back at the Black Gate, and you can’t get to it so…you can’t get off that dock. You can stand there and admire all the NPCs if you want, but you wont be leveling. Similar things happen with say MoP (that’s Mists of Pandaria) where you take the airship over and you’re on the deck, and there’s a question mark on the map, but no NPCs on the deck of the airship. You can take the parachute down to the mainland, but…after you do some of the preliminaries, there again are ??s for turn ins and no NPCs. You can just use your toy portal stone to your fortress in WoD, but then you don’t hardly get any exp, and the items you get are ilvl 40ish instead of where they should be (around 150 or so).
In other words, TIMEWALKING IS BROKEN. Hope that helps.
Think he means Chromie Time. I know there’s a bug that causes all the quests at lvl 60 to give you garbage exp even though it’s supposed to go to 61.

you mean chromie time is not working correctly.

If that character has already played through the expansion, then no, you cannot.
I just ran through Mists and Warlords about a month ago on a new alt without issue. So if this is a bug… then bug report it.
Also: don’t get condescending when you couldn’t even write a coherent sentence in the first place.
Also also: we call it Chromie Time. Timewalking is what people refer to with the dungeon week event. Not leveling. Don’t get snippy.
