After completing the Dragonflight campaign, I went to Chromie in org and timewalked back to Legion to do the hunter questline there for the unlocks. I was able to complete everything I needed, but Chromie will not give me the option to return to the present. I can switch to TBC, WOTLK, CATA, Legion, WOD and MOP just fine. If I select Shadowlands, it takes me there, but there is no portal nor any way to access Oribos. I have my hearth set to Valdrakken, and I can hearth there, but there is no portal in the pathfinder’s den for Valdrakken.

The only way I can change timelines is also strange.

Chromie has 4 options when I talk to her.

  1. What are Timewalking Campaigns?
  2. Can my friends join me?
  3. What if I don’t want to stay in the timeline I chose?
  4. I’m ready to select a timeline.

If I choose #4, Chromie says Alextraza is calling the dragonflights home…etc. and my only option is to click on “I have a question about timewalking campaigns” or select goodbye. (This does nothing for me… still no portal to the dragon isles)

If I choose Option 1 - what are timewalking campaigns, I get 2 options to select.
a) What timeline should I choose?
b) I have another question.

If I select a)… then I am presented with options to explore azeroth (Cata), explore another planet (TBC), fight the evil undead (WOTLK), Contemplative adventure (MOP), command my own garrison (WOD), be the coolest hunter on Azeroth (Legion) or explore the afterlife (Shadowlands).

Please help me get back to the present!

If you are talking about trying to do Chromie Time on this character you’re posting on, since you’re level 70 you are already in current time. You can still go to the other expansions when not in Chromie Time and quest there at level 70 but you don’t get moved do a different timeline.

You should already be in the present time line. I have all those same options that you have listed on this character and another 70.

Did you use the portal in Valdrakken to go back to Org when you went to talk to Chromie?

yes, I used the portal in valdrakken to go to org to talk to chromie.

In the org portal room, I am missing the portals to return to Valdrakken and the portal to Oribos… the rest are there.

There are other strange things… I got a mage portal to shadowlands could fly there before , but now I can’t.

Have you done the Shadowlands intro quest? I know that the intro quests cause weird phasing and glitches. If you just got a mage portal to Oribos maybe you need to go back to Org to start/finish the SL intro quest line.
