Hey all, pretty new to WOW and leveled through timeline with chromie in legion and started shadowlands. I have never been able to collect my trader through this character because the trade market is not there. I also cannot collect my traveler log rewards because it is not there. I completed dragonflight and have the portal to Orgimmar in the hall in Valdraken but no portal back. And now the new event points me at a portal that does not exist in Ogrimmar.
I have tried to go to legion and get through the main part of the story but for shadowlands I cannot even get to it bacause there is no portal.
Does anyone have any idead how to get the timeline back to current? Thanks!
PS. I put in a ticket to support and they said
“Customer Support does not provide game hints or restore items, progress, or currencies due to bugs.”
I am not asking for that just a way to fix the game.

Chromie Time shouldn’t be creating enough phasing changes to remove portals. There isn’t a direct portal to Legion Dalaran. You need to take the Azuna portal and then fly to Dalaran. (If you’ve done the Legion intro quests, you can use your Dalaran hearthstone as well.)
There are a few quest chains that will cause significant phasing in Orgrimmar. The Legion intro is one of them. If you started it, make sure you completely finish it up through revealing the Legion spies and then talking to the Demon Hunter NPC on the bluff in Orgrimmar. Later parts of the BfA War Campaign will also cause significant phasing issues, so if you’ve made it up to the part of the War Campaign that you get in Naz’jatar, you might need to finish it up. (If you aren’t that far, it shouldn’t be the problem.
Otherwise, something is bugging on that character. You might want to try a UI reset in that case.

Awesome, thank you for the information!! It is hard to tell how far I have gone into Legion, can’t remember much of it. As for BFA I got pretty far into that before Dragonflight and bounced once that became available. I may go back and try to run through Legion because from my searches for Grommash hold being locked up and everyone standing around.

The Legion intro quests that will lock up Grommash hold come before you actually go to the Broken Isles. The game will let you jump to the Broken Isles quests without the intro, so it’s possible to be doing those while leaving the intro partly done.
What I’m saying is that questing in the Broken Isles won’t help. Look specifically for quests in Durotar near the gates of Orgrimmar.
Legion was the reason that Grommash was locked. I also got my trading post and all my portals (shadowlands, valdraken, radiant echos) back. Thanks for the tip, I probably went further than I needed but got it fixed.
Well at 60 I’m pretty sure you are kicked out of chromie time and sent to the new (old now) expansion of dragonflight.
There were problems with the portal all throughout dragonflight for none max levels, and I would suggest taking the boat that you initially took to get to the dragonisles.
Though at this point I would just suggest doing the new content for the war within. You can access that stuff by the portals in the legion version of dalaran (since you went through legion you should even have a toy called dalaran hearthstone for an easier way there) this should be in your collections tab.
Anyway, I hope this was somewhat helpful.
