Just out of curiosity, after the prepatch are the timeless Isle mobs still dropping gear tokens (they no longer drop coins) and if so have they been updated to have level requirements up to 50? And, no, I don’t want to hear your bravado crude about welfare gear, or get to max and raid. I’m just curious.
I farmed the mobs near Odus for 3 hours yesterday and I got coins and gear tokens appropriate for MoP ilvl and all the rep I needed to get the rep mount

I doubt that old content will provide end game gear.
It feels a bit funny right now not having shadowlands 50-60 but having the time walking leveling.
End game content right now is 50 but the leveling is set up for level 60 to be the end game content.
The intention isn’t for you to be able to use old expansions to gear up for end game content because you should be moving on to shadowlands to level between 50-60 and then gearing for end game.
I’m not really looking for end game gear, just better than quest greens. I do a few dungeons here and there with no raiding. I don’t really care for that part of the game. I’m one of the weirdos that loves leveling and exploring. I just use Timeless Isle for some better gear to make my questing easier. After all, if it’s in a synched zone, it should give appropriate rewards. I just either haven’t been lucky enough to get a piece yet or they don’t drop past 39.

I am short on time. I have two jobs, kids, a wife, and many real life activities. I have neither the patience nor the attitude to be tied to my computer for specific times and to put up with attitudes. I prefer to do what I want, when I want on my own time. Better gear just makes that easier. In no way am I asking for anything over the top, l just want to know if what was previously available to us is still available at a slightly higher level to match everything else in that zone that was redesigned to match current level. Seems like a reasonable question.
Well I would say that doing BFA WQs for gear is the best casual way for max level hassle free gear. But you do need to be level 50. So quest gear will have to suffice until then.
