Timegated content

I really can’t be the only person who’s sick & tired of Blizzard time gating every ounce of content they come up with. Season 1 supposedly starts today but only a fraction of the content is actually playable while the rest is slowly being released over a 3-4 weeks.

I agree the time gating this time around is insanely painful.

I don’t mind as long as there is something to do. m0’s and raids will hold me over this week until m+ starts next week.

What gated content are you talking about?

Oh you mean the third raid not already being unlocked right away and Mythic difficulty unlocking a mere week after NM and HM? Or the factn that M+ is a mere 1 week after the season start? You know, so that everyone that has a job, a family and other responsibilities can keep up a tiny bit.

This life is sooooo hard. Blizz fix this pls!

yall know why it was 3 weeks till season started right perfect amount of time to get a free $15 from every sub but yall keep spending money. Im done with this game ill come back when its free to play

I don’t mind it…that much.

I do think its getting a bit excessive. The season in tww didnt need to end so early and midnight didnt need to start so late.

What content is missing?

Agree. I think the pacing is good. I have ADHD and it stresses me out if we suddenly get bombarded with so many things to do at once.

Time gating is a necessary evil.

If they dropped everything all at once, the degenerates would grind 20 hours a day and get a massive lead over everyone else. While I’m of the camp that people if people want to do that, let them, from Blizzard’s standpoint as a company it’s a bad decision, because these forums and the vast majority of their playerbase will complain about those players getting a massive advantage over them. They’ll complain that they can’t make as much gold because the grinders outpaced them in professions. They’ll complain that they can’t get into groups because the grinders have a significant ilvl lead. They’ll complain in PvP because they’re getting dumpstered by gear difference.

Staggered releases helps mitigate these complaints and placate the vast majority of their playerbase.

Blame the no lifers. who ran m+ so hard in a week and made the raids trivial lolz

3-4 weeks should be enough time to get some alts going especially if you’re an altoholic.

Plus I need to get my housing done still not leveld yet

Time gating whats suppose to be seasonal content is still absolutely garbage

Blizzard has taken a firm stance on preventing people from bum-rushing content at Zero Hour. This has been the case for years.

When people wanted to make Raiding and the time it takes to kill the final boss of a raid into a competition, Blizzard accommodated for this by leveling the playing field and making it as fair as possible to everyone involved.
