A) changes to loot distribution methods would rarely qualify as QoL. Those are core design changes to huge systems. A QoL change would be adding a zoom button to the minimap or something.
B) how rare are we talking here? A few hours of farming something seems quite reasonable for some of the more lucrative recipes. Especially if you can just farm up some gold and buy it instead.
At least Tailoring makes money.
Try being a blacksmith, people are charging 150g for the Steel Weapon Chain pattern.
Blacksmithing never really makes money unless you get super lucky and get a world drop recipe like Lionheart Helm, and only if you’re the first person with it.
He’s probably salty he got ignored by his e-GF. The only reason why anyone would be salty about ignore list posts are stalkers, ninja-looters, and losers.
You should take up smoking. Whenever I have to wait for something I just consider it a smoke break and light one up. It keeps me busy while I’m waiting and it adds a sense a value to the pattern to know that I’m literally killing myself to get it.
I was one of the very early few getting the runecloth bag recipe, and happily paid 12g on the AH for it. Within an hour I had made back that 12g just buying runecloth and posting the bags for sale… and it surely would have taken me longer just to get to Winterspring, even if there was no competition at the vendor
I would argue that your time would have been better spent just farming 50g in under an hour and buying that same pattern off of the AH instead of camping it for hours just to end up unsuccessful.
