Timed Patterns

A) changes to loot distribution methods would rarely qualify as QoL. Those are core design changes to huge systems. A QoL change would be adding a zoom button to the minimap or something.

B) how rare are we talking here? A few hours of farming something seems quite reasonable for some of the more lucrative recipes. Especially if you can just farm up some gold and buy it instead.

so you were the one saying there’s people out there that are too far gone to not be on an ignore list? that was a quick 180.

BFA players don’t need ignore lists so not sure what you’re even doing in this thread.

At least Tailoring makes money.
Try being a blacksmith, people are charging 150g for the Steel Weapon Chain pattern.

Blacksmithing never really makes money unless you get super lucky and get a world drop recipe like Lionheart Helm, and only if you’re the first person with it.

He’s probably salty he got ignored by his e-GF. The only reason why anyone would be salty about ignore list posts are stalkers, ninja-looters, and losers.

says it all. keep proving my point.

he looks salty regardless lol

its all the salt licks. i am a cow man after all. though if you’re more than .9 percent salt, you may wish to contact a physician.

You should take up smoking. Whenever I have to wait for something I just consider it a smoke break and light one up. It keeps me busy while I’m waiting and it adds a sense a value to the pattern to know that I’m literally killing myself to get it.

These things are meant to be hard or less common to get. What’s the point if everybody can just get that one recipe in a fingersnap?

Except people will still be camping it as long as it sells.

50 gold you say. Or more. Exactly what vendor are people camping in what city? I’ll ummm, go there and try to stop them.

So you choose to do something optional, then blame the game.

You planned something that requires pure luck (RNG) and it failed.

Let me see if I can find ANY simpathy for you…nope.

Blizzard won’t change the game to prevent you from doing something you later regret.

Welp, you’re right.

I was one of the very early few getting the runecloth bag recipe, and happily paid 12g on the AH for it. Within an hour I had made back that 12g just buying runecloth and posting the bags for sale… and it surely would have taken me longer just to get to Winterspring, even if there was no competition at the vendor

Exactly.

So sick of hearing people complain that they don’t have something because someone else worked harder for it.

No, you can’t buy it with your charge card from the shop. You have to work for it and if someone else out works you they might get it instead of you.

I would argue that your time would have been better spent just farming 50g in under an hour and buying that same pattern off of the AH instead of camping it for hours just to end up unsuccessful.
