Time walking raids being denied

Are you using raid IO to deny time walking raids?

That is like denying a Hogger raid for level 1’s

I don’t think raider IO is the reason why you are being denied from TW groups, but on that subject if the person is doing this just why? the addon is meant to help judge M+ scores and shouldn’t tell how much said person knows about a raid boss mechanics.

Pugged it earlier. We spent thirty minutes farting around with a skip we weren’t equipped to do and then wiped three times on Illidan. I’m not saying BT isn’t easy, but doing a blind pug can still be frustrating, and if you just want an easy clear, you need to set some sort of standard.

dont expect to get into that raid as 289 without essences and stuff… illidan isnt faceroll for most groups.

It’s not LFR difficulty. If you don’t follow the mechanics you will die. Many groups that get to Illidan don’t even finish it.

I’m not because I’m not doing timewalking raids but as always, People are free to set whatever requirements they want for their groups and people are free to start their own groups.

I wish the TW raid gave better gear. I think that most people won’t do it on their main character because it drops 445 gear instead of 460 gear. Now, if it dropped 460 (or maybe 470, it’s late in the patch) gear, people would be hopping right in!

Wasn’t aware it dropped 445 gear. Stopped running it as soon as I got the kill, unlocked my warglaives, donezo.

TW raids have always dropped loot on level with the current normal raid.

too bad they can’t just do like this, kill x amount of bosses in Ny’alotha what ever its on Heroic or Mythic you get increase that item level depending what difficultly that was. If they did it that way, I am sure you see more people doing TW more often. doing for 445/455 ilvl its not really worth it tbh.

It was super fun to do Black Temple Timewalking, but borrowed power definitely has a huge influence on the difficulty of the content. My level 110 Pally (whose Legion borrowed power had been ripped out of the game by Ion Hazzikostas) had 30% less HP and was doing roughly half as much damage as than the other tank who had BFA borrowed power like the legendary cloak, corruptions, essences, azerite, etc. That’s a MASSIVE difference in performance.

I dont even bother with timewalking raids in general only for the tbc one for the obvious glaive mog for dh…

last time I kinda wanted to try out ulduar raid the raid fell apart due to not enough people :man_shrugging:

Have lots of DHs, kill the first giant thingy, go into the big hall, have the DHs go up the chain, swapblaster a warlock, then warlock ports everyone else to the top, then kill the giant snu snu chick, then kill edgylord illidan. It’s not that hard.

But ulduar on the other hand, ooooooooooooohhhhh man.

If your level 1 you aren’t going to be useful on a Hogger kill.
