Look, I love running dungeons and legacy raids for transmog. If you’re like me, you understand that bags fill up and time running back sucks.

Such as removing the ability to sell to Brann in delves (why?) and the ability to sell to Coppers (again, why?).

Introducing a toy that everyone can use (not just engineers), that allows us to “leave instance” and allows us to sell and repair would be a huge time saver.

Using the Argent Squire and the Grunt allows for selling. These toys are amazing. And we already have the ability to leave instance and it memorizes where you last were, so, the snapshot could be the entrance of the dungeon and leaving would teleport you outside.

Thoughts?

Just buy a repair bot from the auction house, don’t need to be an engineer to use those.

Given current bag sizes this should not be an issue unless you have serious hording problems.

Some of the legacy raids, every mob drops something. Even in time-walking. Burning Crusade is notorious for dropping a bunch of stuff.

I just don’t see why the pushback on a vendor toy or even “back to start” toy. It’ll be just one of the million items available to players that they can elect to purchase.

My apologies- I don’t mind the idea. I think a toy that can be a vendor on maybe a small or no cooldown would be great.

It was only the justification that I objected to and I could have said as much in my first response.

We had that with the battlepet Coppers, he originally had no CD and instead of putting a CD on his functionality to match the argent squire or the guild page, or similar pets blizz just completely removed his functionality.

Yeah, I put that in my original post. Sadly, I got Coppers after his nerf, so I use the Squire and Guild Herald for my selling needs where we can’t mount to sell.

The guild harold pet doesn’t stay out all the time and there is a long cool down after summoning.

I was thinking about this last night while running around in Blackrock Depths dungeon while looking for the Elder inside the instance. Even though the dungeon has vendors to sell the back and forth is rather annoying when picking up stuff from mobs, the reason I do this is to get mogs and trash I can sell for a gold pieces even if it’s small.

I think maybe a little mechanical pet vendor that can follow us around as a regular battle pet would without the cool down would be nice. We can’t mount in most instances to vendor our stuff.

Put it in game shop, maybe the pet can also do bank and AH stuff for those who didn’t want to buy the gigantia mount. I like the brutosaur, but I don’t like all the bells and whistles on it.
