Time to take out the Dawnbreaker instance out of any dungeon rotation!

Dawnbreaker + the one with the mine cart needs to get permanently deleted from the game.

They are both so bad.

Yep. I really like combat in this game. I don’t find it fun or joyful to have to pick up and fly around a map. Same feeling with Ohn’ahran Plains.

Maybe it will feel a little better in M+ with mandatory trash %. Maybe.

It just feels like a gimmick they thought would look cool in a trailer or something. I really don’t like it.

The other annoying thing in these dungeons is the NPCs in combat that aren’t part of the dungeon progression. Playing with nameplates they show up. It’s distracting and it clutters the screen but you have to play with nameplates on to keep track of what you should be interrupting and stopping. They made this big overture about cleaning up the presentation and then built these dungeons with an absolute large amount of just background NPCs that are just there for ambiance that clutter the screen.

I would love to have an option where NPCs that are outside a certain distance whom you are not in combat with don’t show nameplates, can’t be tab targeted, and don’t get targeted by action combat targeting.

I don’t mind having to clear trash. That’s part of what a dungeon is. This is literally my issue with it. People will want to pick up and fly around all over the place.

There should be an on-rails flight path to take you up to the airship and back as necessary.

Most of the time when they add gimmicks, they fail.

I’d rather they focus on creating challenging fights with creative mechanics over trying to add gimmicks to a dungeon.

I like watching ranged players get plastered by the huge can’t-be-missed metal cube in the Stonevault machine speakers fight. Maybe there’s a reason I drag the boss out of the middle of the combat space?

Cannot even tell you how many times I cleared the trash to the boat, and then left the follower dungeon because of an invisible boat. Thank goodness for follower dungeons. No penalty.

A video game design well done is SELF EXPLANATORY, there shouldn’t be the need to go check a web site. Requiring that is already a major fail in design!!

Dawnbreaker is self explanatory, which is the saddest part about these complaints. The map is marked with the lieutenants spawn points. They’re in the city, so logically, you need to get off the Dawnbreaker to go engage them. After the bug boss dies, NPCs tell players that the Dawnbreaker is under attack or some reference to going back to the ship.

There’s nothing in this dungeon that requires a third-party website explanation. However, for players who can’t pick up on the cues the game provides, there are other resources to better explain things.

A non explanatory design is a fail, not only is it buggy but the objectives are very unclear. It should be taken out of the rotation the time the bugs are ironed out and some explanations are included in the introduction. This is not about a boss mechanic but the logic of the full instance. Half of the time the group is confused and wanders around until they just quit.

My favorite part is how the punishes people that use normal flight by having the boats move at 95% of the speed of normal flight so it takes an extra 15+ seconds to fly there if not using skyriding. Even better when the boat bugs out and doesn’t let you land forcing even more time to try and catch back up at the right angle to land again.

Also it’s a huge middle finger to druids that flight form doesn’t work for the boss.

I haven’t particularly had an issue with bugs, The only thing that I particularly have an apprehension about is in mythic the trash pulls. The amount of dense trash mobs that are scattered around the town, especially around the big boss that can fear you. Yeah that one is a little scary to me as a healer. Other than that, I think it’s great.:grinning:

Lmao no he doesnt.

Just for the VH Wrath+Legion version is going to be in S2, hope you’re happy with what you’ve done. >:c

WELL TO BE FAIR he is invincible so taking him on anyway would be a insta kill.

The complaint is not that it’s hard. The complaint is that its a buggy mess.

None of the groups I have been in lately even bother to kill the mini bosses. We just go straight for the big guy.

i havent done it since week one so ig things changed. thats even better

No he isnt.

The current strategy is to go straight to him and skip the minibosses.

None of this is true.

Bro is playing of GPU settin 1
With view setting 1

He cannot finish the dungeon so he is upset.

I played on setting 1 yea the ship is not visible on setting 1 that is also the view setting.

Try to increase it.

What objects do you need to see ? She tells you clearly get out of there ?

She tells us clearly eat the yellow for buff

You could not be asked to look the guide.

I am more worried doing this in keys as how hard the adds will. Mechanics is not the issue.
