Trying so hard to stick with it. Was waiting for some comment on improvements, but alas. I just can’t stay with a class they are trying so hard to bury. Guess the 20 remaining rogues will be down by one.

Do you genuinely believe that there are game developers within blizzard entertainment trying to “bury” or otherwise kill your enjoyment of the class?
My 2c is to familiarize yourself with Hanlon’s Razor and seek help (no disrespect, but genuinely) for reframing such negative thinking.
I wasn’t trying to be negative, except that last statement. Do i believe they are slowly killing it so that there isn’t a massive uproar yes. I think they don’t have the resources to continue with the classes they have and pruning one would be beneficial. Since rogue is so far down the totem pole all they have to do is make hero talents suck to such an extreme they most will abandon it, and the rest would understand the elimination of it. “Well it was kinda horrible, They just didn’t have a good direction for it, or probably a good thing so resources could be spent on other things.” Rogues have been bottom barrel for awhile. I love my rogue but gimping myself on purpose isn’t my style.
I jumped on the beta. I set up my character the way i like, put points in all the hero talents. If i didn’t log in myself I don’t think i would’ve really noticed i was using any hero talents at all. Damage didn’t seem to change much and I don’t even remember if there are visuals.

seriously, I’m trying to figure out what is so great about a rogue atm. I love the play style, but even that is getting convoluted. Can’t use stealth in dungeons anymore, used to need to stun things to make battles easier but that to useless, a lot of openers come from stealth otherwise your damage takes a hit. Dungeons are run from beginning to end. I was so hoping for something special with the hero talents, something to get us back in the game. Nothing has changed though. Some things are even worse. Hear rumors that they are doubling down on stealth mechanic. <–lol they really need real world play experience.

We can stay stealthy and steal a kill…maybe not, since they can’t fix the invisibility break problem.
