Time to reflect quest problem

I was in Perdition hold and I defeated “The Pride of …” I then went to SPOILER ALERT Uther and turned in my quest to him and while I was reading the quest text for the next quest “A time to reflect” a falling arcane blast hit me and I died right before I was able to accept the quest. This rezzed me in the graveyard outside of perdition hold but now since I dont have my quest companion with me the doors to pedition hall will not open and I have a permanent 200% damage buff on me near pedition hall making it nearly impossible to get to SPOILER ALERT…uther to get the quest “a time to reflect”.

Basically, I died in perdition hold after I finished a quest and before I could accept the next quest, this locked me out of perdition hall, I can only get in if I follow in another player. The 200% damage taken buff remains because I dont have my quest companion since I am inbetween quests making it nearly imossible to get back to Uther to accept the next quest.

What hit me was a Tier 2/5 Tower bombardment.

Same thing happened to me, did you find a solution?

I followed someone in and was able to get the quest, but man was that painful…

Just happened to me also. There has to be a way in without waiting for another player…

It happened to me too. Still stuck outside. Getting frustrated trying to get in with the debuff just to get that last quest from Uther.

This happened to me yesterday as well.

I attempted to get back to the quest giver to accept the quest a few times to no avail. I hope Blizzard will notice this design flaw for the quest. We should have our companion until the questline in Perdition hold has been completed.

This has happened to me as well, it’s basically impossible to get back to the quest giver.

Had this happen to me today as I was going through the Kyrian campaign for the first time on my paladin alt. Got hit by a Tier 2 bombardment (which is apparently a one-shot with the Perdition debuff) while reading the quest text, and now I can’t get back to Uther to get the quest. Even if I sneak through the gate when someone else opens it, I barely make it inside before I’m killed.

You fight the “pride” boss in a phased instance, so why not have the quest turn-in / next quest start right there where you’re safe? Why do Kleia and Uther need to walk out of the instanced area, through the gate, past an elite guard mob (that Kleia doesn’t help you fight), and into an area where you’re now vulnerable and if you die before accepting the next quest you can’t get back to the quest giver? Why not have Kleia and Uther spawn at the gate if you die? At the very least, why not keep the gate access and sword/Kleia buffs until you’ve flown out of Perdition hold, so that you at least have a chance of getting back to Uther.

This is terrible design. Absolutely terrible. Clearly no one thought this all the way through.

I’m late to the game on this post, but hopefully my reply can help another player that is currently facing this issue.
My solution to the problem: Invisibility potions. Invis, run, hide, and wait the 5 minutes for the potion to reset. When you make it to Uther after the 45 minutes that this will take, make sure to bubble to avoid dying again!!
While it’s not practical, it will work…I suppose

MOnths later. Still an issue. Just ran into it on my Kyrian. The moment I finished the boss battle with Uther. NPCs rephased in and 1 shot me from the 200% debuff. Really 10/10 game design here.

Yeah just happened to me on an alt. Very annoying. I had to wait and follow someone in.
