I was on the forums here weeks ago warning how OP this pos ability would be with all those talents stacked on top of it and you REALLY thought toning down the range ever so slightly was going to fix it. Time to strip those inherited talents. Your PVP has never been so bad in the entire game’s history. Unlimited mana druids spamming moonfire star surge travel form. Great combat.

Yeah, scorpids and wind serpents were far less oppressive than this and that got their Pokemon Trainers nerfed substantially. Anyone that defends Shadow, Mutilate or Starsurge right now is deluding themselves. Nerfs are coming. Big ones.

Damage is way too high. HP is way too low.

You can kick Lava Burst if you really want to. You can also dispel flame shock and LvB barely hits harder than a comparable level Lightning Bolt. Elemental also collapses under any melee pressure.
Chaos Bolt REQUIRES that you cast Incinerate first and optionally that you cast Rain of Fire first (for the Lake +40%). CB, Incin and RoF all share fire school so you can lock them on that and prevent the burst entirely. Destro also collapses under any melee pressure.
Comparing these two to Mutilate, Shadow Word Death or Starsurge is laughable.

Then it’s just starfire with a cd. strip its damage right down to its prebuff levels of 3x less or remove all talent inheritance. It’s the only way to make this thing balanced. It’s so mindlessly easy and druids are having it great. They sure conned blizzard pretending like balance was ever bad in pvp. Like they needed this instant cast. Honest to god. Imagine waking up and seeing this in your patch notes.

I don’t even know how to counter any of this stuff. So far the strat has been to dog-pile the first druid you see. People are unintentionally and unknowingly coordinating against boomkins in STV like they’re an NPC we all get credit for killing.
Think about it. Druids have a button that they can press that has “unlimited” range as long as the player is in view, requires no resources to use, is instant cast, has no cooldown, and one shots most other players.
They gave them an instant kill. An actual authentic, Blizzard made and approved cheat.
I’m amazed this hasn’t been fixed already. I rerolled my hunters stuff so many times in p1. I actually do expect them to nuke this until they balance it and make druids go back to playing feral.

Also, please list for me which classes can catch and stick to a druid AND kill it in 6 seconds or less. 6 seconds being the time it takes for a Balance druid to do 2400+ damage, which is over 100% of most peoples health pools.

My accounts subbed for another two weeks. If I don’t see nerfs I’m letting that tick out. Combat is trash. Just give us another fresh server if this trash pvp is what classic+ means.
