Devs. Delete the necrotic affix. Everyone hates it. There are no redeemable qualities to it. It does not make keys more interesting. It does make make for a fun challenge. It makes dungeons unfun. It makes people not do keys. I’m sure you guys have analytics that show the number of keys done on any necrotic week MASSIVELY drops. Tanks are already on short supply because of how much responsibility you put on them in M+. Necrotic is and always has been a horrible idea to put in the game.
God forbid your not the best tank or healer either. It feels like an affix for the top players and makes those weeks harder for those who aren’t top tier. I’ve tried so many pugs with necrotic and it’s just not doable. Especially as a disc priest (resto Druid is hard too). I bet tanks are nervous, healers are nervous too, and queues for keys skyrocket to record lengths I’m sure .
I feel this way about Sanguine. I hate that affix
All the tank has to do is step away for a moment. The debuff falls off rapidly after that. Its actually one I like to see cause I can just ring of peace the tank when stacks get too high to heal.
Now if the tank doesn’t know to step away from the mobs for half a second and lets the healing debuff build up to the point he just drops after they’ve been informed of the mechanic; I go back to my tried and true philosophy of “Wel’p, can’t heal stupid.”
Until you get mobs that teleport to you or have extended range/cast - then you cant drop stacks. Its also absurd that it reduces healing but not shielding/absorbs making some trinkets and tanks/healers completely overpowered on these weeks.
I don’t mind it, nor does the tank I run with. It’s one of the easier affixes to deal with.

Necrotic isnt even hard anymore. Its just terribly boring for most tanks as you just end up kiting during packs and has mostly been invented to make it so blood dks arent good that week.
With no kyrian cleansing pot it will be even more annoying next expansion.
I dont think its hard, its just you know… like the above said, boring. Any other “mechanic” that requires you to bugger off and away and wait for a couple of seconds is mostly just annoyingly boring rather than difficult.
This has been the entire reason on why i despised Sanctum of Damination, stop of everything you’re doing > wait > wait > wait > wait > do some damage… then wait again and again and agaiizZZzzzZZzzzzzZZzzz
Not everyone wants to compete in the MDI. Some folks want to have fun together.
I don’t like it because it’s super punishing to newer tanks who either can’t handle mOre than 25ish stacks or don’t know the kiting required to stay up.
In s1 it was a big problem trying to get into a pack and establish threat before you had to start kiting.
What I dislike the most though is it has literally zero impact on dps, and loads even more stress on the tank and healer (mainly the tank).
They pair it with spiteful, so DPS have things to worry about on the week Necrotic rolls around that tanks don’t have to bother with.
