Isnt it time for a nameing convention/scheme change? Single names, and the fact that once one is taken its unavailable for everyone else? Why cant I name multiple characters of the same name on an account? I have a few characters with the same name but thats only because of the changes made to realms and warbands. I think its time we get last names, and maybe even family style characters, and even let people name their charcters the same name. Its all account bound so whats the problem ?

They should give us one space, apostrophe or hyphen.

What they need to do:
- Extend character limit in names
- Let us choose between one space, hyphen or apostrophe
That covers last names and other cultural naming conventions.
Do not add a last name slot. Not all races use last names.

maybe if we could have family names (your battle tag or family name with # like the battle tag naming) that way we can all have the same name on the same realm, of course in your own char list you can not have the same name two times or more on the same realm, it has to be on another realm, yet your friend for example can have “your name” on the same realm and for that person also has the “rule” no more than 1 of the same name on a realm.
the setup will be like
Battle Tag Name
Guild
Title - Ingame Name
it would be simalar like Black Desert Online
so the only Unique name would be your Family Name

I do wish something could get improved involving names because it’s very obvious with players from the bigger servers constantly seeing “workarounds” to be able to use a name they want to use, which kind of makes the issue worse when you have to try and type their name to contact them for mail or something like that
Something like family names or somehow integrating your Bnet account to associate all your characters and then allowing multiple characters on the realm to have the same name would be a nice change, although I feel like family names could eventually run into the same issue as we have now

While I agree they could add last names or something to that extent, it would be neat.
The real solution is to just completely remove all server restrictions and make the entire game one mega server. Then you pick one server and make a character there, and your server functions as your “last name”.
They’ve started to do this already and they’re almost there, but there’s still a few things leftover.
