Time to Ban the AFK exploiters

its time to raise player cap higher.

modern wow yes, classic, no

Edit: Just being realistic here, sorry

dude, it’s impossible to ban people who do this. NEVER a game managed to do that.
Unless they act like private servers, that keeps reseting from time to time to clear stuff (not AFKers exactly, but it works too) or making those captcha some Lineage 2 servers do to see if you are botting (and if you don’t answer it you are kicked/banned) this is not a possibility.

And they won’t do these stuff I just said up there because it’s annoying for everyone.

With all the legal software that makes macro and stuff, and you can also just tape one of your arrow keys and leve your character walking in circles, no software involved (and many players do that in Black Desert to level their horses).

TL:DR It won’t happen, if they do it a lot of people will legally complain and even if they didin’t, Blizzard won’t ban people and lose money just because of that.

exploits are literally covered in the ToS, just because a program is legal, doesn’t mean the actions it’s capable of doing are.

you’re allowed to own a gun, but you can’t legally shoot someone with it.

Thousands of Twitch followers cannot log into their favorite streamer’s server. So instead of concentrating on playing the game, I’ll go on the forums and whine to make myself feel better. Got it.

Classic is built on top of the modern engine/client so they can deal with hacks/bots/etc. more easily.

lol bro you are comparing firearms with a mice software.

Yeah, on EVERY GAME’s ToS it’s said that third party programs are not allowed. But what are they going to do since 90% of people who game and can afford paying wow have a mice that comes with those softwares.

Even streamers use those macros live and get away with it.

Bro, really, I really shouldn’t have to explain this to you since this is old already and EVERYONE knows that companies won’t ban people for using mice macros.

so, not that I doubt people do this, just a minute ago (like, I just got back to my computer and started browsing the forums lol) for the last hour two or so I’d been sitting in an inn while I do some housework, and every 10 minutes or so I’d walk by my computer and just press spacebar.

So yeah, some people may be smarter than me and scripted it, some people aren’t doing it with scripts

People that do what you do should also be actioned, if you’re not playing the game get off. It’s very simple.

Excuse me for wanting to take a quick break and knock a chore or two out, or have a quick bite to eat, and don’t want to wait 8 hours for a queue to get back in

While I wait for my friends to make it through the queue, I might add. I’ve had a friend in the queue for 4 hours, just now logging in. Forgive me for waiting for him

Agree 100%. They all know third party macro programs that circumvent afk timers ect are illegal. Just slap a 14 day ban on their accounts.

No, you will not be excused for taking a couple of hours “break” to do stuff IRL while you clog up the realm cap and force other players into a queue. We all have friends in the queue, get off if you’re not playing.

Are you in the queue right now?

so log off. you aren’t playing, you don’t have the right to take up a slot for those that want to be actively playing.

actually, I AM

do you have friends waiting on you?

Yes and I’ve spent 16 hours between the last 2 days sitting in queues to play the game.

with friends waiting for you to login to play together?

yes, i have an entire guild waiting on numerous members to get on who are clogged in a cue because people think because they pay money they get to circumnavigate the ToS

Do you think they should be punished for waiting for you to login?
