Time Rift underpopulation

Moments ago I participated in a Time Rift event. There were a couple dozen people doing the event bits on the outside, enough that we easily reached the epic box. However, when we entered the rift, there were exactly two of us inside. We waited a minute to see if maybe more would enter, perhaps from a different layer or something. But no. It was impossible for only two people to go up against the Azq’roth boss. It hardly seems right that we get screwed with an impossibility and no way to reset it or simply be the first two in the next instance created should our layer have had too many cooperating to fit into a single instance. If it’s not only two of us on the outside, it certainly seems it should not be only two of us on the inside. I scheduled my play accordingly. I don’t have time to just go, “Shucks, them’s the breaks.” No, it’s f’ed up. Please fix it.

At the very least, populate it with NPC bots, like Comp Stomp and (I presume) the solo dungeons.

I did a few last night and the boss has barely 7 million health. That should easily be done by 2 people that aren’t fresh 70s and with at the very least Emerald Dream/LFR gear.

Time rifts are super boring. Grind mobs that die very quickly is probably the least fun thing you can experience in wow.

And this type of boring content kept getting added every single patch.

And I just got the legendary on my DK this week which requires doing a ton of boring superblooms and rare killing.

I did the legendary on my dk and it’s probably the worst content blizzard has put out.

In general I’m not fond of these hourly events, especially since so many of them overlap and they won’t age well going forward for anyone who wants to go back for achievements/xmog.

A good idea. At least they are getting easier as our gear level rises.
