Sorry i’m confused, i did the time rift event on my first character this week, had the quest on that one for the weekly, got the 480 piece. Went to do it on another toon and no cache, is this intended for this event? Seems kinda bad since last week we could get 3.

The quest is once a week per account. Dunno why Blizzard had the bright idea to tie the 480+ item to the once a week per account deal.

Should never have been account-wide to begin with, but definitely needs to be reverted for Season 4

Yeah I think it’s this way for the Archives event too, so it’s probably to prevent people from mailing a bunch of the currency to an alt? Which is just silly timegating, anyway. If people do the content that much they should be able to farm whatever they like.

It’s once a week per account… sort of. Last week I think 5 of my 13 characters got the quest with no rhyme or reason

Yeah, it’s pretty buggy on alts being able to get it, but it should be something 100% of alts can do.

last week you got a 480 for doing the world boss, grand hunt, and dreamsurge
then you got TWO 480s for doing community feast and TWO MORE 480s for doing dragonbane keep
then you get a 493 for turning in the quest
this week you get a 480 for a single character on your account for doing time rift
you get a 480 for opening the suffusion camp chest (not the big dragon for some reason)
you’re SUPPOSED to get a 480 for doing the world boss but they aren’t in the mood to give loot right now
so all in all the difference is absurd

Yeah everything else aside the catchup is pretty crazy. I leveled a character from 60 to 70 and got em to 487 in one night lol. Very lucky with the BT and TW drops too, to be fair.

This is on purpose and is there only to slow you down. They need that sub money and can’t have you get bored too fast.

There are lots of resources to find out about this stuff ahead of time.

Figuring stuff out about this game isn’t hard. It just takes the bare minimum effort.

Pretty sure you missed the point of the post, i understand the quest is only once per week, i’m talking about the cache you get for the event going on where you get the 480 piece from the cache. Figured you should get one for each character you do the event with as with the previous 3 events for completing.

The cache is tied to the quest… someone at Blizzard thinks it is working as designed. The design needs to change.

I just love this “Google will give you exactly the information you need”. Lies. You end up with all sorts of completely erroneous comments on articles that are barely relevant or completely out of date. Some of the critical info that is never presented in the game can take hours to find after you realize what you need. I’m sure you never helped anyone in your life.
When I know the answer and it’s a quick answer I tell them. Patting yourself on the head for sending them on a wild goose chase when it’s a 3 word answer is antisocial.

I never said I don’t help people. Lol. Using the forums and asking for help is another form of research. Just like googling or wowhead.
Doing an event without looking into it and then complaining that you didn’t fully understand the rules is absurd.
