Assuming you generally 5 cap relatively quickly…anyone have any approximation on how long it should take to fully gear your toon in honor gear through comp stomp alone?
Pretty sure it’s 10375 honor for a full set. Let’s say 400ish honor per win or 25 comp stomps. Let’s say 5 minutes per stomp or 125 minutes of comp stomp. However, some rounds will be longer and you have to sit in Q, so id say it’s a safe 3ish hours to full gear.

I realized I made a mistake and fixed the math!
Don’t forget to check the world quests for PvP gear too. Less than 5 minutes for PvP gear to save some honor and gear faster.

Tip for those gearing: Play as tank spec
You can cap farm after the initial 4 cap because the bot algorithm will be less aggro towards you(aka they’re programmed to ignore you, to a point)
Source - geared guardian(LOL god mode) and brewmaster(just ok) using this strat
its pretty fast

sadly in my experience horde takes very long time to 5 cap
and lot of games they dont get 5cap at all
its sooooo amazing how frikkkkken bad the horde is

Youre not winning in 5 minutes unless you 5 cap always which is rare. It will take a lot longer than you said. The bots wreck lower geared players which is a majority of the people playing the mode.
Though a monk can sit near their spawn and rop the train and it bugs them out.

It is around 2k per hour, so somewhere between 5 and 6 hours.
Took me 0 minutes because I leveled through Skrims and was max honor when I dinged 80
Fully honor geared 3 characters with the 15% honor flask each one took 3.5-4 hours of spamming Comp Stomp games.
Yea I’m the op and I was asking for this toon. I had zero honor gear when I started last night at about 630pm, and went to bed around 1030pm only missing both rings, 1 trinket, neck, wrist and cloak which are the cheaper items. Also used flask. I suspect with another hour of grinding I should be in full honor gear.
As others have said, upon first entering with no pvp gear you pretty much get demolished by the mobs. So if most of your team is freshly leveled with no gear, you’re likely not going to 5 cap quick…in some cases if at all. Usually you 5 cap eventually though.
Update: ive now geared three chars with comp stomp. First one took 2 hrs, second took 2.5, third took like 5, almost 6; bad groups that never 5capped.
