Please read before posting angry or just plain rude responses. It is a valid question that does not have a clear answer that I can find anywhere.
I am trying to find a GM response to the following question:
If you group (5 or less) to hunt the TLPD and you find and kill it, does everyone in the group get the mount?
I found this on Wowhead:
You must be in a party of five or less, and everyone must be invited BEFORE any spell is used on him, or they will not get loot.
Loot does not necessarily meant mount, and not all mounts, or even gear for that matter are awarded to everyone in a group, take the headless horseman for example. When it dropped, not everyone in the party got one.
So I am asking if a GM has ever responded that everyone in the group would get the mount.
I tried having a conversation with another player about this today and when I would not join his group he started cussing me out.

You’re not going to get a GM answer if there’s other info on wowhead, etc.
You know you can solo it, right? Even in a group that’s spread out, there’s no guarantee that someone outside your group will tag it first before you get close.
If you can even find it.
Last time I killed him about 6 months ago everyone in the 5 man group received the mount.

Yes everyone gets it. The secret finding discord is always posting about it being up and doing groups for it.

There is no CLEAR answer about the mount. That is why I am hoping a GM will answer.
A lot of people are saying that is how I got mine, but I do not believe them, and I refuse to help someone else get this thing based off a lie.
So if a GM reads this please answer, I cannot find it answered from WOW anywhere.
I got most of my rare mounts because of strangers

Yes I think for timelost everyone in the group gets a mount. They have nerfed it because before it was unlimited I think. You could tag it, leave group and still get it. But yes that still mean you must tag it.
Just a heads up, GMs do not staff the forums. And I doubt a CM will answer on the weekend, or at all. That is most likely considered a game hint.
I could be wrong about the answer or fame hi t though.

My understanding is that all must be present at the kill. So if you’re camping all the spawn points, everyone should have a red ryder rifle to tag him, then call out to your party to get there right away.
The headless horseman mount is a dungeon drop, not a world drop. Being in a premade doesn’t make dungeon or raid mounts drop for all party members (or even 1).
I thought about farming the TLPD once. Then I realised I could get a better coloured version via the egg from Sholazar Basin. So I did that. Took about 2 months of egg farming but got it in the end.
Does this mean I can have your Credit card number , personal info and trust fund 
Start by getting me rare mounts first xd But theres a difference between giving personnal info and trusting someone about a video game mount I feel^^
