Can some please tell me I’m not crazy. I’ve been camping TLPD for now over 8 hours. I’ve got MoP chromie time with WM on and I haven’t seen a single soul all day. I have two toons parks on places that cover all of its routes, but I havent seen a single rare spawn. Not Vyregosa or anything. Am I doing something wrong?? I’m going insane lol

It could take much longer than 8 hours. I have been looking for that mount since WotLK was new and I could fly, and still have yet to see it.
Same experience, have been camping for it 3 days now, not even seen a corpse or alive, I spent at least 9 hrs a day flying around and staying the different spots, no luck.
This mount really drives me crazy but still want it SMH
Three days is nothing. Wait until a couple of months of camping has passed.
Don’t know if it still works this way, but back in the day, there was a finite number of rares up at any given time in WotLK.
A rare had to die or be tamed somewhere in Northrend before another rare would spawn.
Proto drakes currently have a camera bug that makes them pretty much unusable as mounts.
Sometimes sour grapes are the only grapes we have.
true true, after 9 days camping, I finally got mine, turned out the only two things you need are time and good teammates

The spawn time varies and can be much longer. Also, kill Vyragosa when you see it so you can get a respawn. I got it some years back by having characters parked on low pop realms that I would occasionally log into when things were slow. It can be a long-term project.
After camping this for a week (this time) after the game decided to steal my TLPD I did have when I body pulled it into the mountain and it clipped in and bugged out. Then coming close by seconds many times I can say with near certainty after seeing many corpses that it always shows up within an 8 hour window. I’ve never once seen it not. It can spawn in any two hour window after the last kill but of course shares a spawn timer with Vyra. Kill and skin Vyra to continue the clock. Set timers. Most people if they don’t sleep for a few days and live on timers will get it.
Server resets are a thing. If nobody is in the zone for 15 minutes the entire clock starts over. So if you go to a low pop realm for less competition DO NOT LOG OUT OR LEAVE THE ZONE.
A team of four people can quite easily get this in a day. Get on discord, each person sits on one of the spawn points. Hit it with a foam sword or whatever to tag everyone run over, kill, and loot. Simple as that.
You can also create your own little Chromie Time Bubble team of just you, go into time sync without warmode, and camp. You won’t be competing with as large a group and you can watch spawn points.

So, this is what IS happening brother.
The Tlptd only has a 5% to 10% chamce to spawn, instead of Vyragosa!
So other people are killing her most of the time, skinning her to have a head start on the next exact 2 to 8 hour spawn, all without you aware of it.
So all in all, the Tlptd might only be up 2 or 3 maybe 4 times a week.
Ive camped the Tlptd since 2010 and just got him 09/05/2023. I think a total of 2,250 hours or so.
I know what its like to think maybe its bugged and he doesnt exist anymore.
In the back of my head I always imagine some undeserving nerd at the opposite spawn point of me, killing the tlptd, leavikg me helpless and hopeless.
