What fits more your playstyle? I’d say mine is a mix of both. Most of the time during a start of expansion I like to go with the pandaren quote…enjoying the new scenery, music, atmosphere and of course reading all single quests. And unlocking stuff. No rush at all.
And then after a few months I naturally follow the blood-elf motto whenever I am grinding something else, like leveling alts,reps/renowns or professions (looks like these will be a major time sink/grind to come).
This was the first expansion in a long while, WoW or otherwise, where I legit just walked off the quest path just so I can see what’s over the hill or do some impromptu skinning or just because the music swelled and I wanted to match it or something.
I feel like if I have to rush to get something done, I shouldn’t bother anyway. The only time I’ve felt like I had to get things moving is in the rare few times I shelved my anxiety to do some PvP stuff.
It’s been a week or so of DF and I still don’t have a 70 yet. I am the filthiest of casusals.
