Possible there could be devout Forsaken(?) following Calia’s ascension with the light. That would be perfect for paladins.

Gnomes would be cool, but I don’t see that happening.

I’ve been waiting forever for this combo, along with Gnome Hunters which we already got in Legion.
I farmed this cool sword, Purity’s Edge Greatblade, that I was gonna use, and I have an old Argent Dawn tabard as well.
That undead guy that hangs out in the Argent Dawn church, he’s always been an idol to me as a player.
Either that or Gnome Paladins, I’d name him Lightbulb or something along those lines lol.

How is it butchering their lore when there are already Undead paladins from ages ago ? Also what about Undead priests ?

What lore prevents Undead from being Paladins? The only scrap that comes to mind is the whole Light burns Undead thing, but Blizzard threw away that in 2004 to allow Undead Priests. Any race that can both be Warriors and Priests can easily also be Paladins, since Paladins are just Warrior-Priests (that’s how the first Human Paladins came about anyway). Oh, would you look at that: every race can be both Warriors and Priests thanks to Dragonflight. Looks like it’s only a matter of time…

I’m eagerly awaiting being able to race-change my Horde Paladin into an Undead.
Blizzard said their goal is all classes for all races, but they have to write new lore and build new art assets to support them first.
They already said summer 2022 that all race/class combos are coming over time, except for Evokers maybe iirc. But they could always change their mind on Evokers.
Sir Zeliek already been in the game for many years.
i love when fake lore nerds cry about muh lore lol. 
To be honest, Sir Zeliek’s lore points out that he is one of a kind in his devotion, so you can’t really base an entire class off it. The best bet will have to be something similar to why Calia can use the Light (resurrected with the Light), but currently the forsaken aren’t resurrecting new undead so we will have to see what new lore Blizzard writes to support it.
Undead pallies should have been ingame since vanilla. Fallen silver hand pallies from the fall of Lordaeron. Pallies were never immune to plague of undeath just highly resistant.
Would have loved UD pallies and lights hope as starting zone 
Or stratholme chapel.
