So, at level 12, my house is pretty sprawling. While I know you can place Front Doors anywhere in your house to exit, I’d like to see this expanded on to have interactable objects that can “link up” and teleport you around to different areas. Think the teleport pad in Icecrown Citadel.
We are only house level 12. With housing being evergreen, what happens when we are housing level 20 or 30 or 40? Either room budget additions are going to slow to the point of massive player frustration or we are going to have to exit the house every time we want to go elsewhere in the house since travel time could be exponentially longer than not doing so.
We’re told housing is here for the long haul, it’s time to look into how to handle giant builds now rather than later.

Translocation orbs would be cool.
I get lost so easily in other people’s houses as it is, thought, that even bigger floorplans just seems wild to me. But I’m someone who has built most of their stuff in the footprint of like two large rooms…so I’m probably not the best person to talk to about this.

I’ve made a dreamway maze and even I was getting turned around and running into my own dead ends. For visitors? wheeze

Personally I’d go for the Dracthyr Ancient Wyrn Device and I’m sure the Kareshi and Mechagnomes will have similar teleportation devices.

I imagine once they have the tech made and implemented, they could apply it to any object (theoretically).

We need something, for sure.
I thought a map that a player could call up that looks like the floor plan with a “You are here” notice on it. Then you could click from the map where you wanted to go. Visitors are missing half of my house, and I know that it is on me to give a layout that makes some kind of sense.
Like OP said, Level 12 house is massive, I can’t imagine it even bigger.

my goblin area has the rearranger mecha pad, and then there’s one by my front door. it LOOKS like a teleport, but it isn’t, and you still have to run halfway across Azeroth to get up there, lol.

I can, and it is GLORIOUS.
(my house is huge, 5 open circle rooms, 5 regular open stairwells +2 that are 3 high… and a large octogon, and the halls connecting it all)
