Time for pumpkin flavored everything!

Already got the coffee going (just regular coffee. Not the 4000 calorie and 10 pounds of sugar stuff).

I am ready for pumpkin spice muffins, donuts, pancakes and other goodies. Cinnamon scented rooms.

I need this heat to go away and cool morning breezes through open windows to be a thing.

And let us not forget…. Spooky Season! And all that comes with it.

I am soooo ready for it.

Yup, it’s still August. Hold your horses or we will start hearing Mariah Carey as early as Labor day.

She’s always there, waiting.

(Off in the distance. Just at the edge of your hearing. Carried by the wind as a whisper)

All I want for Chr…….

Don’t remind me.

I have one more month free of snow. It starts in October here

Sadly we are actually in the prior spot. Middle of the sun.

Not here. My poor hot peppers need those few more weeks of heat.

Just got yearly mailer from local farm about the 2025 schedule.

Milled Apple Cider, yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!!!

Saw that they are opening private picking slots for all the varieties of apples they have. I think I’m going to lock in one of the Honey Crisp days. They give you your own spot on farm and let you know when ready to go pick.

Thinking of also getting our pumpkins there when time’s closer .

A little sad they got ride of the cart rides but the couple that had been doing it for decades with their horses decided to retire. Which is fair.

Housemate has slowly at random last couple of weeks bringing me new random decor for Spooky Season. What can I say they know me well.

Cooler mornings in low 50’s and high 40s, feels good and is coming this week

On that note kind of in same boat.

I have a huge crop of lemon cucumbers that are just really starting their full growth. They need at least another few weeks but, also didn’t have that great of a season for normal growth for them.

They should be about baseball size by now by are more like a raquetball ball.Mostly weather, got alot of storms in the last month.

Me too, but I’m also ready for my kid to not be sick 95% of the time this autumn, because that would be greater than the best pumpkin spice anything. Seriously. Could you just, I dunno, wash your hands at school or something? That’d be great. Oh ! But yes, YAY Pumpkin spice!

All I have to say is this:

As much as I like pumpkin flavored stuff, it is still 100 degrees outside.

Summer is overstaying its welcome. It can leave now.

I did see and buy some pumpkin spice M&Ms the other day. Also saw pumpkin spice Green Mountain k-cups at the store. That is my favorite k-cup brand so I really had to resist the urge to buy them. Still too early…

And with all that said, pumpkin is still the inferior fall flavor to cinnamon apple and maple. If either of those flavors are available, I’m going for them instead.

Maple > apple > pumpkin

Got in my car yesterday after getting off the train from work… car said 112 degrees. Yeah not ready for pumpkin yet unless it’s ice cream.

Baskin Robbins usually has their pumpkin cheesecake flavor around this time of year. It’s freakin’ delicious.
