Subscribers now suspected at 1.7M and probably lower now and stock market at 15% down for Blizzard. Time for Blizzard to make a new MMO, one that is compatible in Mobile gaming too. Just let BFA be their last WoW expansion to cut their losses so they can work on the next MMO.

1) Suspected 1.7m by whom and based on what? I suspect this is more conspiracy theory than fact based theory.
2) Activision-Blizzard is a multi-billion dollar company. Stock prices fluctuate. They made $500m on Destiny 2. Apparently this was below expectations resulting in part in the stock dip. But it'll climb again in the days and weeks to come. This isn't the end of the company.
3) Would you really want Blizzard to make another MMO if they are nothing but a bunch of greedy foolish fun hating trolls? What makes you think you'd like WoW2 or whatever any better than BfA if it's made by the same people?

No one without an agenda to push suspects subs are at 1.7m.
Frankly. I suspect subs are 7,662,729,563.

So, everybody on the planet plays WoW?
Interesting theory.

The 1.7 million sub number is a fact.
Posting in a Kamiski and Rastlin thread.
They've teamed up to bring more trolling for less effort.

I play ESO and it's doing pretty good right now. Despite that, I wish we had anything near 1.7 million. That's still really good compared to other, still successful, MMOs these days.

Based on half a tweet thread where even the guy posting it said there was no way to prove if the numbers were real or not.
I just heard from my friend’s dad who works at Blizzard, Nintendo, and Disney that the sub count is actually 22 million.
Also Diablo will be in Smash Bros and Mickey Mouse is dumping Minnie for Daisy Duck.

Then surely you have clear evidence that hasn't been debunked to back up this "fact?"

No..it isn't. It's been thoroughly debunked.

Has just as much backing as the 1.7 number. I figure since we are just throwing numbers out there which have no basis in reality, have some fun with it.
That being said, we are obviously at 7,662,733,361 now. We have 4k more WoW players!
Well considering none of the bad news was because of Warcraft.
CoD under performed analyst expectations.
Destiny 2 under performed company expectations.
Hearthstone is dropping active accounts.
Overwatch has dropping revenues.
Diablo Immortal had a botched announcement.
Executive announcements about mobile gaming has everyone freaked out.
Warcraft has nothing to do with the stock drops.

Or maybe make improvements that are not horrible and make the expansion feel like it is in Beta stage. After BFA, I am not trusting a brand new MMO as I know what the new MMO will turn into... THIS.
Make this one great instead of leading me along on a second one, because I will not.

Yeah because surely everyone loves BfA, right?

I see you still haven't found a dictionary. One of these days you should work on your understanding of the meaning of words like "fact" and "prove" it might make you a much more reasonable individual.
For the sake of argument take 1.7 million subs. 1.7 million subs at 15/month is 306 million per year on subs fees alone on a 15 year old game. They will never throw away that kind of income stream.
I dont see subs over 1.5m tbh, and US is probably less than 400k I would bet. That is BAD this early in the xpac. If Classic doesnt deliver it will probably sit at less than 1m subs worldwide and 250k US by end of BFA.
