If they do Classic+ I could see them eventually adding other races we have in retail but in a âdifferent wayâ from a story perspective. Maybe.
Exactly wha I was thinking. I donât see them getting rid of retails quality of life stuff that everyone is used to. At most, I expect the story to go a different route and any future expansions to be different or altered versions of the retail versions.
Exactly. For example, I could see them doing something where they add worgen as a playable race, but they wonât be from Gilneas, the lore might be that they are from Duskwood this time around. Or they could do like the Death Knight origin where you escaped Arugalâs experiments. They would then just start in the human starting zone potentially.
If Classic+ is an alternate timeline, I prefer something different then human infected Worgen.
I would go for night elf Worgen whom have rejoined the Kaldorei.
Then have Ogres be the new monster race for the Horde.
The other race idea that works well in Classic+ is high elves. Though my concern with the alliance high elves being playable, the Alliance will get even more boost in population then they already are.
While it would be different from TBC, one could have a scenario in Classic+ of blood elves joining the Horde.
Allowing on of the most popular race to be played by both factions, with some differences. Maybe high elves canât be warlocks, no green eyes. Blood elves canât be paladins or maybe a they still can, but add some differences to distinguish them from Alliance paladins.
