OK… this is getting old quick. Each time Blizz says they are doing maintenance it start with 0700 - ??? and each time that time comes up… there is yet another delay and another hour added. When all is said and done… it usually take 6 + hours to get it done AND THEN the post sayin tomorrow will be the same thing. I spend more time waiting these maintenance updates then I do playing. I am aware the contract you agree to says there will be “some” interruption for update / maintenance but come on… this is getting beyond stupid of late.

I’d rather them fix the game and release it when it’s ready than for them to open up the servers only for everything to be bugged all over the place.

If blizz were smart, they’d say maintenance is going to be from 7 till 4, then when they’re done and turn the servers on early people would treat them like heroes.

It’s estimated time. Would you prefer they just put down at X and say “it’ll be up when it’s up” instead of an estimation?

It sucks for sure but at least we can hope tomorrow’s maintenance will be up in time.
they bring servers up earlier than expected pretty often. people don’t care and don’t remember. it does them no good.

I get it, maintenance needs to be done, but I can also see the frustration from everyone else. They should definitely over estimate rather than under estimate. just take servers down from 0700 - 1600 and if it comes up early… they are heroes. lol Just makes no sense why they try to rush it and 90% of the time, they never hit the mark!

Sucks for people with families who only have one hour to play during their lunch break, they probably took their hour expecting the servers to be back two hours ago.
Do they not have test environments to streamline this process? I haven’t played a game that takes all day to update in years.
That is very unfortunate, but I think the number of people impacted by that very specific use case can be counted on one hand.
Tomorrow’s maintenance is supposed to be “live” so the servers aren’t going down, so they say…

“Of late”? My dude, this has been going on since '04. You think these time delays are “stupid”? Try sitting out for multiple days as it happened back then. If they haven’t learned to do maintenance in a timely fashion by now, they never will. And let’s be honest. They don’t really care if it pisses people off.

Right? Most the time servers go down for like 30-45 minutes. The few times we have extended maintenance, people act like this happens every Tuesday
